My feelings towards 2016...
Election Rant
I am about sick and tired of seeing all of these posts about voting for Hillary just to stop Trump from getting into the White House. They use fear tactics to dissuade people from voting for a third party because that would be âwasting your voteâ and would ensure Trump the win.
You know who else uses fear tactics to get what they want? Dictatorships. Last I checked, the United States was a democracy, not a dictatorship, and Iâll be damned if I let a bunch of dictators scare me into voting for someone I donât believe can do the job of President.
I voted for Gary Johnson and Bill Weld for my President and Vice President. I wasnât scared into voting for Hillary or threatened into voting for Trump (my mom voted for Trump, but I didnât feel pressured to). I voted with my head and with my heart and I feel pretty damned good about it.
Democracy isnât pretty and it doesnât always get you what you want, but itâs what this country was built on. Using fear tactics to get your candidate the vote or to stop someone else from voting for who they feel is the better person cheapens the election by turning it from a democracy to a dictatorship.
You can agree with me or disagree with me, thatâs your choice, but I refuse to be intimidated into voting for someone I donât believe will be an effective President. Voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil.

Have you ever wondered where books come from?
Well then, let me show you, because thatâs what I do for a living.
Right now, itâs this time of the year, and the little ones have just freshly hatched:
Youâll notice theyâre still blind and naked when they hatch. So I make them little coats to keep them warm during their first winter:
See how they happily line up to put them on:
See? Better. Now theyâre ready to go and explore the world.
And if they make it through the winter and we take good care of them, they will grow up to be strong and wise like their older fellows:
So, in case you were ever wondering, now you know.
As a Publishing Professional I can say that this is 10000% accurate, and I am a little concerned youâre just giving away all of our industry secrets on Tumblr.
I think we need to invent a game called âshatnerâ
Someone yells âSHATNERâ at you and then you have to overact whatever you were doing
this is like the less dangerous version of infomercial
I played this in Uni the other day and the guy behind me flung himself off his chair and into the wall
Less dangerous, you say?
