Villagers pt.2

These are the other subspecies/other Race of villagers!! In the terms that’s they also Docile by nature, Seek to build communities, The green eyes gene, and Just overall look and act similar. :3

Dwarfs, the original creators of mineshafts where they prefer to stay till this day building civilizations underground. Short and stout but very strong. Masters of the forage, If you’re looking for a well made quality weapon your best bet is one of them. Though it will be quite difficult they like to isolate themselves and keep their homes hidden, it’s believed that wanders are up to no good and being nothing but trouble. 

Gnomes, slightly shorter than Dwarfs and way less strong and they have bigger rounder eyes than any other race of villagers. They are by far the most docile species of Villager. They are very in tune with nature making them some of the best farmers. They stick to living in forests so that’s usually we’re you’ll find them. They used to thrive in dark oak forests but over time were killed off and forced out by Illagers.

Centaurs, Centaurs are are a powerful species distinguished by their humanoid upper bodies and equine lower bodies. Built for speed, endurance, and strength, though different traits can differ significantly from breed they are. They never build villages or settle down in one area they are travelers who move in herds around the overworld following the seasons. They are one of the only species of villager who can grow hair that isn’t just on their face their mane if you will, it grows straight from the middle of their head and stops and back length and can be styled however from there.

Once widespread across the overworld centaurs have become an increasingly rare sight. For decades Illager forces have deliberately hunted and captured them. For their immense strength, endurance, and ability to carry heavy loads have made them valuable targets for forced labor and other exploitation. Along with not having a stable place to seek shelter they are extremely vulnerable to raiding party’s. That’s why sometimes you’ll see a Centaur or two hiding out in a village for a time after attacks that’s probably all that’s left of their herd.  

Merfolk, They semi-aquatic species that inhabit oceans, rivers and lakes around the overworld though they prefer to live around coral reefs or deep ocean waters where they prefer to build their villages at. They possess a humanoid upper body and a powerful fish-like tail that allows them to move with remarkable speed and agility making them great swimmers. Even though they can breath air they cannot be out of the water for long periods of time or else they’ll dry out leading to a slow painful death. I won’t have them have a gender because they’ll probably reproduce differently than normal villagers so they can be whatever.

Unlike centaurs their body’s are all the same color I think they would posses coloring and marking similar to tropical fish. They are mostly neutral and I say mostly because them and sirens are one and the same. They are against witches specifically because witches use their fins for potions which they’ll just rip off their bodies in brutal ways and because they are so slippery and hard to catch they are fairly valuable that’s why witches hire pirates to do their dirty work for them. While many merfolk prefer peaceful lives they are more than capable of defending themselves. Never wrong a Mermaid they are extremely petty and will remember you forever, shipwrecks aren’t by accident.

Fantasy craft world building🌍

This world is basically just Minecraft but set in a DND/Fantasy type format. I think I’m just going to call it Fantasy Craft, very straight to the point :3 I’ll start with some of the species first one being Villagers!!(Showing off characters of mine)

Your average Villager come in all different shades and sizes, with their appearance influenced mostly from their place of origin but isn’t always the case. In height staying roughly around 5’2-5’6 unless of course you’re a giant which could get up to heights around 6’5. BUT they can only have one eye color which is green with some exceptions but that’s usually for the other species of villager. They can be found almost anywhere on Overworld EXCEPT the dark oak forest. 

Traveling and adventuring has become increasingly common in more recent years. While many still choose to live inside their village just as many choose to venture out in search of a different life. A villager is not just defined by where they live but by the biological identity and cultural they belong to.

Villages

Changed the villages a bit I wanted a more townsy like village with houses and different shops everywhere containing anything and everything they could ever need, there’s definitely more occupations now that I would like to explore later. I would think that eventually somewhere in their history they would try to come up with more defensive tactics against Illagers and other mobs then just relying on the Iron golem. Thats where the concept of “The wall” comes in it’s basically a giant wall that surrounds the entire village based off the Trojan wall causeee I think it’s cool, They are tall and thick made to keeps villagers in and others(Illagers) out. Traders and travelers are welcomed.

Villagers find safety in numbers, along with the belief of having big families(The more kids you have the more that’ll survive) the average village will have somewhere between 450-700 residents.(Which is why successful raids are so deadly, can wipe out whole family trees) Making villages pretty compact, The giant walls around the village are century’s old and aren’t to be broken to make more room in fear it’ll weaken them. Along with the wall I actually wanted villages to have a 2nd line of defense which as I’ve been calling them protectors(the guys up top) this also includes the Iron Golem. Volunteers who take up special training to help defend their village. Though it’s a fairly new concept for them and the majority of villagers are still frightened by the thought of even leaving the village, so there aren’t many of them.

Freesia and Yewl

Yewl is a illager who was born in a plain village but lives on the outskirts of that village with their mother. A very quiet child who hasn’t uttered a word to anyone but they are definitely not shy they’ll let you know exactly how they feel. Is insanely strong for their age(Probably has something to do with their weird genetics) they love being outside(tho they are fairly sensitive to sunlight) and being active they keep themselves busy by helping around the village They can often be found hanging out with the fletcher, he has been helping them learn how to use a bow. Growing up in the village caused the other villagers to not be frightened of them despite being a illager because they’ll be “raised properly and not like a Barbarin” or something like that.

Freesia is a shepherd and she chooses to live outside the village by choice, there isn’t enough space in the village to tend to a group of sheep comfortably. Shes very patient and caring but not necessarily great mother material. She’s very scattered brained and Airhead, definitely didn’t know what she was getting into when she decided to carry through her pregnancy. She lets them do whatever they want, spoiling them terribly. “If they want it they can have it” kinda treating them like a mini friend that she just so happens to take care of. She doesn’t scold them for bad behavior because in her eyes they do no wrong and it’s just a cute child thing they mean no harm. That’s why she undermines their growing taste for violence which will probably backfire in the long run. Other than that she loves that kid to bits and is trying her best.😅

My Minecraft Oc’s and their lore🏹

Esme is from a small village in the snowy plains, Here farming is almost impossible so most of the villagers food comes from livestock. Esme’s job as the butcher is to make sure the village has enough food to get by, which is a job she takes very seriously and actually finds enjoyment in doing.

Her skills consist of -Hunting, Skinning and butchering animals, and cooking meat dishes.

Random details-

She has two wolves named Pork Chop & Rocky

Others find her unsettling and tend to avoid her because of her occupation, which works out for her favor

She always shows respect to the animals she kills

She has a very strong sense of justice

Blossom started off as a normal pink sheep till she was turned into a humanoid like creature by a witch trying to create a loyal servant. The witch quickly realized that Blossom wasn’t exactly what she wanted so they sent her away under the guise of a “important mission”. She ended up getting lost and wandering around accidentally entering the snowy terrain, eventually finding a village with very kind villagers. Once she’s ready she’ll try and go find her creator.

Skills consist of- red stone engineering??(Allegedly), finding creative solutions.
