😵💫 - Cid finding Kashtara.
Charred bodies laid around her. The dragon hunters had, once again, come after Kashtara, forcing her to defend herself. At some point, her other, sentient side had taken control, and it showed in the bodies Fury had taken care of, torn apart with their claws. Her body was covered in blood, though thankfully little of it was theirs.
Back in human form now that things had calmed down, Kashtara regained control and let out a sigh… And it was then that she saw Cid. She took a step back, sword in her hand, unsure if he’d try to attack her, and wondering whether it’d be wise to just transform back into a dragon and leave flying.
A list of words in the Drow language. abban 'ally',[1] 'not-enemy'[2] abbil 'trusted friend' or 'trusted comrade'.[3] Largely an oxymoron ba

Not me considering adding the Vampiress from Sacred 1 to this blog.

"So..Kashtara...you never really told me how you came to your draconic powers, I think. You did tell me you weren't born with it."
Kashtara nodded. "A dragon did that for me. I had been gravely wounded and he just... I don't know where he came from, he just suddenly was there with me. Said my father had once done something for him and that he would repay the favor by saving my life... In the way giving me these powers."
She looked at him. "My father never told me he knew a dragon, nor that he had done something for one, so you can imagine my surprise when I woke up and realized I was no longer human."
He looked at the woman curiously at her explanation. A blessing, then...not unlike his own situation, but much less complicated...
Simple was always better than complicated.
"Probably your father had some good reason to keep that hidden... Although it turned out well? At the very least, its not like the blessing gave you a lizard head.", he chuckled into his hand.
"But...does that mean you can't ask him yourself then to clear the question? Is it difficult to reach him, or...has he passed...?"
"For all I know, he might have met the dragon during his years as a warrior."-she shrugged. Then she laughed softly. "Oh, no, Ferenir. He gave me way more than a lizard head." But she doesn't elaborate, for now at least.
"He died. I don't... I'm not sure what happened while I was gone, but when I returned home, the town was destroyed, my parents dead... So no, I unfortunately can't ask him. I could have asked the dragon, but I have no clue where he went, and I didn't think to ask back then. I was too stunned with what had happened and suddenly having powers."

It's a cold morning in the forest. Kashtara is sitting near the fire, having a warm drink, enjoying the peacefulness.
👁️ — “your eyes look different. colder. hungrier.”
A small, dark smirk appeared on Fury's face, eyes glowing red, nodding towards the now gravely wounded bandits nearby.
"Well, that's what happens when I awaken. They should have known better than trying to attack us while we slept. I have no sympathy for trash like this."

⛓️ — “when did you start listening to the wrong voice… mine?”
🖤 — “you don’t even realise you’re changing. that’s the best part.”
😈 — “i didn’t force you into darkness. you walked in on your own.”
🩸 — “you hesitated the first time. you didn’t the second.”
⚠️ — “you keep saying you’re still good. prove it.”
🔥 — “it felt good, didn’t it? tell the truth.”
💀 — “you’re starting to enjoy this… that scares you, doesn’t it?”
👁️ — “your eyes look different. colder. hungrier.”
🫀 — “i didn’t change you. i revealed you.”
✋ — “stop pretending you’re fighting it.”
🕯️ — “you say you hate what you’ve become. so why do you keep choosing it?”
😳 — “you liked the power. i saw it in your smile.”
🔗 — “the moment you took my hand, you stopped being innocent.”
🌑 — “you crossed the line. now stay on this side with me.”
⛓️🖤 — “i don’t want to save you… i want to see how far you fall.”
"Charming."-said Kashtara.

Inbox is always open and I know someone must hold curiosities.
Kashtara, who had been looking at the camp's fire, rose her head and looked at the forest. Ever since becoming a dragon knight and Fury becoming... active, for lack of a better word, her awareness of her surroundings had been better than ever.
"I know you're there. How about you come out?"
Before following him, Kashtara moved her hand towards the fire she'd had going and it was extinguished.
Once they arrived to Ferenir's camp, Erion flew off and landed on a branch, once again trying to go back to sleep. Kashtara looked at the dire-ox, seeing how calm it was. "How curious. Most animals freak out when they sense me and what we are."-mentioned Fury. "It would be nice to meet one that doesn't get scared... As myself. But perhaps in the future."
She nodded. "True. Part of him being so calm probably has to do with being used to Ferenir. He is a dragon, we are a dragon. Your presence and Rogi not reacting to it, on the other hand, yeah, surprising."-answered Kashtara.
She blinked and looked at him. "Want me to start it?"
