Blade length: 80 cm (31 1/2 in)

Origin: Poland, early 17th century

Blade maker / Goldsmith: stamped with what may be the mark of Georg Hoffmann (Breslau/Wrocław, 1596–1609)

Material: steel, gold, silver, leather, wood, textile, semiprecious stones

Technique: forging, gilding, goldsmith work, silver mounting, engraving, jeweled decoration, textile covering, leatherwork

Queen's Guard Chamber, Windsor Castle

Traditionally said to have been presented by Emperor Charles VI to the 1st Duke of Marlborough. The hilt was formerly attributed to Benvenuto Cellini, although this attribution is no longer accepted. The blade is believed to be a near-contemporary replacement.

Technique: Forging, chiselling, piercing, wirework, high relief

Construction: Wooden grip carved with spiralling grooves, bound with steel wire and overlaid with twisted wire

Decoration: Iron hilt decorated in high relief with military and allegorical scenes; pommel depicting Roman soldiers approaching a town on one side and captives presented to an officer on the other; shell guards featuring cavalry combat and the presentation of captured colours; quillons in the form of satyrs; secondary motifs including serpents, masks and winged putti

I dwell in a deep and narrow hole and bite you when you try to look inside

I snipe you at range from a direction you wouldn't intuitively think to look

I come flying in from outside the camera's draw distance at Mach Fuck

I resemble some harmless environmental feature, forcing you to smash them all

I go invisible under certain conditions; can't go wrong with the classics!

It was never Kindly Miquella, was it? The Erdtree was leading you all along. So that you might ascend to lordship.

I really like the fight with Leda and other Miquella followers. The music, the dialogue...it feels so tragic, that it has ended this way; but it was unavoidable. It reminded me a bit of the Moon Presence boss fight in Bloodborne - because once again, it feels like we are the main boss here. We are the greater evil for these characters.

I started a first playthrough of Elden Ring a few weeks ago and I fell in love with the game!! I’m currently on the last boss of the DLC before I finish the base game. Here’s my Mallow as a tarnished 🥹

The only fromsoft game I’ve played before is Nightreign so I wanted to play the source material!!! And I love Nightreign so so much, I’ve gotten to depth 5 and have so much murk I don’t know what to do with.

Some in game screenshots of him! I found it easy but also difficult to create a human version of Mallow bc that’s just a guy with brown hair 😭!! Mad bc I had to choose between scars or freckles but I chose scar.
