Slingshot Tear down an Rebuild
Hello everyone an welcome back to another addition to the Tactical Monkey. During the time of preparing content I’ve come across some small obstacles. Although I was able get some content created. Today is an update on the tear down and rebuild of the off season of racing. The cars look a lot less like cars an more like backyard go karts. They’ve been stripped of their body panels an will be up on jacks soon to have the engines removed and sent to be refreshed an blue printed. This is a slow an steady process, as we check each an every part to make sure all parts are not broken or need replaced. Most importantly is the chassis, which needs to be sand blasted to check all welds and make sure there are no stress fractures. Once that is completed we’ll move forwards to powder coating the chassis an waiting for the engines to come back. From there the reassembly will start which is yet again a slow and lengthy process. Upon creating some further content I’ll be releasing photos of the process and showing the work done as we do it. Thanks for reading and following along in the blog. Come back next week for another entry into the series.
