Gonna jot some random facts down and perhaps facts can be listed of any of your OCs that you feel relates? Trying to be pretty broad with it

-Though Haru’s name doesn’t actually have the characters for ‘spring,’ she was born in the spring and she loves the aesthetics and colors of spring, so thematically it gets associated with her a lot. I do think that though she enjoys summer a lot because of activities, she is also very guarded about it because of the summer colds.

-I like to think that part of the reason why Haru was put into gymnastics is to force her to spend a lot of her energy as a child, but also because she was really clumsy and not aware of her surroundings. So they put her into gymnastics to work on her balance and being more spatially aware. She’s better at it now, but she’s situationally daft.

-Despite how many view Haru being a dog person, it was revealed in a manga omake that her family was looking for a cat to adopt but was unable to find one that fit them, so her family are cat people.

-Both of Haru’s parents work and with one being a professor and one being an office worker (and with Japan’s work habits being what they are), Haru spent a lot of her younger years alone at home. Thus she quickly learned how to take care of herself. Very self-sufficient in being able to cook for herself, clean, do laundry, etc.

-Haru isn’t a light sleeper, but she also didn’t a deep sleeper, so she isn’t that difficult to wake up from slumber. She isn’t a morning person though, so it does take time for her brain to actually wake up. So her defenses are way down in the mornings.  

-Haru’s family is pretty small, as she’s an only child, and her parents are also only children(not canon, just my HC). She has some distant related cousins, but they aren’t that close as they live in other cities.

-Her spice tolerance isn’t the weakest, but it certainly isn’t strong. She’s very curious about foods, so she has been working on very slowly increasing her spice tolerance so she can try different foods.

Since you mentioned the possibility of other characters, I'll select the one I think best fits that information.

Adalia has a slight weakness for flowers. There's no vegetation in Muspellheim, so when she first encountered flowers and the array of colors and scents they has in Midgard, she was captivated. The small problem is that, because her body is always warm, if she stays near one for too long, it will begin to dry. After watching one slowly dry in her hand, she began to prefer admiring them from afar.

Both Lyren and Varek are naturally gifted archers. Lyren lost his enthusiasm very quickly when he grew tired of his arrows never missing, finding nothing to motivate him to improve or perfect, because there was nothing left to improve. Varek quickly became a killing machine, and was treated as one, so he superficially lost his humanity (heh). In reality, he's just looking for someone who sees him for who he is, not for his ability to kill (which is why he ends up falling in love with Adalia).

The team doesn't have pets, except, in a way, for Svannir. He's an ordinary human who adopted magic that isn't his own, and thanks to that, he can now transform into a tiger at will, although he still struggles with both personalities because the magic isn't entirely his. Anyway, like any good feline, when in his full feline form, he loves having his head scratched.

Many would think that Adalia and Skarn were born into the luxuries of a royal family, and in a way, they were, since their parents were the guardians of the primordial flame. But thanks to a poorly told prophecy, their 'luxuries' turned into a survival odyssey for two children who didn't know how to control their heritage in Midgard.

Adalia and Skarn are very light sleepers because they're in survival mode all the time, while the rest of the team sleeps relatively well. Kaelin, the doctor, sometimes uses her own tricks to help Adalia and Skarn sleep when she notices they're reaching their limit (for example, putting something in their food). On the other hand, Dagna, the blacksmith, is a heavy sleeper unless, of course, a mechanical noise wakes her.

Whether for protection, desertion, or isolation, they all lost contact with their blood relatives, and that's why, even though there are disagreements among them, they always reunite because they are the closest thing they have to a family and a place to belong.

If we're talking about strong tastes, Skarn is a fanatic. His favorite dish is rice with marinated meat cubes, so if you cook him that dish and add something to the sauce to make it spicier, or more intense, my friend, you'll have him asking for another plate.

In the stillness hanging thick like a blanket between the firtrees the strangers calls for help were so loud they hurted in Senritsus ears and she flinched a little at every step as she came closer to the source. She was there, she could help,so she had to help.

Using her wander-staff like a blind person would use a cane Senritsu ran it over the thin layer of firneedles covering the ground to check for any holes beenath she could fall into on her way to the source of the call for help. The light was different between the firtrees- when it had been bright by the river now it was dampned and filted through the thick firbranches had turned somewhat grey and dull as if the colour had been sucked out of it. So the place between the trees with the echoing cracks int he rocks beenath seemed somewhat grey and colourless where even the firtrees seemed black instead of green. The others warning made Senritsu, despite the tension and the hectic in her steps, laugh quietly to hear the laughter echo through the hidden cracks in the rock beneatht he layer of firneedles covering the floor: "Oh I am careful, I can hear the echo of deep spaces, don´t worry-", whatever else Senritsu wanted to say drowned in her suddenly pressing he rlips together and listening- she had heard that the other was injured, but in the others voice had entered a yelp and her heartbeat had flared up in sudden distress over pain so whatever injury the other had had suddenly falred up. Senritsu needed to find them soon. She was there, she could help,so she had to help.

"Senritsu-", the young woman called back and couldn´t help a rueful smile to spread over her dark lips. It smelled thickly of firneedles around her and the scent was almost luring her into calmness. Almost. Only almost, because she still heard the by firneedles covered hgaps between the rocks beneath ready to swallow her: "-my name is Senritsu and I swear I am not a random robber who wants to rob you, but I am actually just a harmless travler even if saying that out mhmmmm... assai forissimo is kind of suspicious and might make you think I am indeed a robber aiming to rob you-", the others voice became louder and steop by step Senritsu came closer to where they were holding out yet still the young woman caught herself wincing over her own words born from tension and nervouseness. She laughed, even if the laughter was tiered and tensed and eagerly eaten by the stillness hanging between the firtrees thickly: "...I am sounding more suspicious by the minute, I am sorry. if you still want me to find you, please continue speaking. What had begun as a frown at the voice echoing through the cave's rocky walls soon softened into a small, suppressed giggle, even as the slight movement of her shoulders sent a gentle shudder through her body and sharp pains through her leg.

In the cave's darkness, the rune etched beneath her left collarbone began to glow and seemed to almost distort. Adalia frowned again and carefully adjusted her jacket to conceal it from the other person's view.

"My name is Adalia, nice to meet you, Senritsu." Letting her head fall against the damp, rocky wall of the pit, Adalia closed her eyes for a moment, exhausted. "You have a very sweet and melodious voice for a robber who's come to rob me… in any case, I suppose your strategy would be more subtle, even… um… seductive?… I'd be more suspicious of you, if you invited me for a drink" Biting her lip to keep from laughing and making her leg twitch, the redhead shook her head playfully. "Is my reasoning correct?"

The pit was cold and damp, but by nature, Adalia's body always felt warm, which caused the moisture to slowly evaporate and the rocks to dry out. In the darkness of her rocky prison, her amber eyes seemed to be the only thing alive. "Hmm, then I swear I'm not trying to lead you into a deadly trap. If that were the case, I could suspect you as much as you suspect me… hmm… I guess we'd just have to trust each other blindly. Equal trust for both of us"

Little by little, Adalia could hear a faint sound that resembled footsteps, which brought a soft, hopeful smile to her face. "Hmm, I think I can hear your footsteps… so tell me, do you come here often?~" Her last comment almost made her burst out laughing… maybe it was the relief of finally hearing someone speak, maybe it was the relief of finally having hope of getting out of there, maybe it was simply the stress leaving her body

☠ - Under Quarantine, DID YOU KNOW: that the town of Flensburg mow build in U-form around a Fjord, had originally only one side of the Fjord settled? Because the other side was left settled only with one church that was used to store the sick sailors to keep them from infecting their familys at the other side of the bay that was visible but just out of reach.Nowdays both sides are settled and the town forms a U around the fjord, but the church stays and it remainds of the quarantained sailors.

Those condemned to quarantine were divided into two groups: those with symptoms and those without. The latter had a little more freedom to walk the corridors. Skarn, leaning his head back against the wall, sat on the floor away from the others.

His back straight, one leg bent forward, the other foot flat on the floor, knee bent upward, his arm resting on it. The pad of his thumb slid repeatedly against the short, neat nail of his little finger. Beside him was a metal tray with a portion of plain, tasteless, even bland rice, which he let cool, and half a portion of boiled chicken. He didn't want to eat, he couldn't eat, not only because of the taste... if he were hungry, he would eat anyway... but because his mind wouldn't stop thinking, his ears wouldn't stop listening, and so much was happening in his mind and ears that the voice of his stomach had faded into the background.

"I shouldn't be here..." he muttered softly to himself, as if barely thinking aloud. "I'm not sick, why should I be quarantined with everyone else?" His eyes flicked to the maidens whispering amongst themselves, and when they met his gaze, intense, hard, sharp, their faces turned as pale as sheets of paper. In the church corridors, he could hear people coughing, some moaning with fever, the bells tolling midnight, and whispers, too many whispers for his liking.

He's the man from the prophecy. But weren't there two of them? Didn't he have a sister? What's he doing here alone? Let's not make him angry, or he'll destroy us all. Don't be silly, she's the one who's going to destroy us all if he doesn't stop her. They say his arms turn to obsidian, and the rune tattooed on his chest begins to glow. What do you say? That's impossible, stop believing the stories they tell on the street. I know, I've seen him, he's a monster in human form. Why would the gods send him here? Stop talking nonsense, he's just a man with a rune tattoo. Just in case, let's not anger him, he could kill us all here... How terrifying.

The whispers continued, and Skarn sighed heavily. He wasn't even going to bother trying to silence them... He had more important things to worry about at that moment.

Lowering his gaze slightly, lost in thought, Skarn could feel the soft, small footsteps of someone approaching him. "Be careful, kid, don't you hear the rumors?" he said sarcastically, a slight smile playing on his lips, referring to all the whispering in the church. Between the whispers and the sounds of the sick people, the sound of the tide crashing against the rocky wall could be heard.

I think it would be good to give you a quick look at what my characters look like. Since I'm being a bit slow with drawing them, I decided to use Hero Forge so you could at least get an idea of ​​what they look like. Eventually, I'd like to draw them.

I'll start with Adalia and Skarn, the protagonists of this blog. I still need to make their Jötunn forms, but I don't think I can get them on this site, so for now, I'll show you their human and fighting forms.

Tell me a fact about your oc and I will respond with a semi-related fact about mine: Despite growing up between graverobbers and having a massive resource of curse-words and insults, she usually avoids cussing because she thinks its beneath her beeing professional (also if she has time to cuss, she has also time to proper communicate she is irked so she thinks cussing and insults are useless). The closest one can get out of her is her making a remark to Mozarts Köchelverzeichnis Number 282c.

By default, neither Adalia nor Skarn are people who curse. They simply believe we have a vast array of words and synonyms, making aggressive verbal use unnecessary. There are so many ways to say the same thing, whether with irony or sarcasm, and it's so endearing when the other person doesn't understand, or worse, understands and gets offended, that they simply don't want to stoop to that level.

That said… if they're angry, they'll definitely swear or insult you directly. Although… for plot reasons… it's best not to make them too angry just yet.

There's something special about wind chimes that makes Adalia feel calm when she hears them. It might be because she had one at her camp in the mountains, or it might be because hearing them means there are no loud noises around, which would mean no chaos, or it might be because they remind her that fragility can also be beautiful.

Skarn, on the other hand, is overjoyed to hear the sizzle of meat roasting on the spit. It might be because the fire, the sizzle, the heat remind him of where he comes from and where he's going, or simply because hearing it means a delicious meal is coming soon. Either way, he can't help but smile when he hears it.

Adalia has a fairly broad general knowledge of music. Her understanding is wide, though not particularly deep, since, having grown up without social interaction, she learned by observing camps and their celebrations from afar. Usually at a safe distance, Adalia would patiently watch them eat, sing, and dance around a campfire before going to sleep to continue their journey the next day.

Skarn isn't a good dancer per se. This is mainly because he's too focused on his objective or on protecting Adalia to take dance lessons or even worry about doing it well. However, with a little help and patience, he could learn quickly.

Adalia doesn't really have a favorite food. Having grown up learning from the adventurers who passed near the mountains where she lives in Midgard, she was grateful for the food and knowledge they shared with her around a campfire at night. However, used to eating so many natural or readily available foods, she finds processed foods quite stimulating since they're not something she's used to.

Skarn, on the other hand, having grown up in a commercial village, was able to become a bit more selective about what he ate. At first, he simply observed what others ate and tried to taste it, but he quickly developed a great taste for cubes of meat with rice. He prefers to avoid fish because it doesn't feel filling.
