The Elder Scrolls Roleplay Character: Zarius Caro [Imperial Legate/Minister of Education]

It was revealed, during his service all across the Empire proper, that Zarius Caro was a Dragonborn of legend. He was met with a healthy mix of fear and respect upon this revelation. Many believed that the old ways should make a return...Others did not, unfortunately.
During his travels, Zarius met many supposedly 'extinct' and forgotten races. Some of them helped him to see that, due to his Dragonborn blood, he was one of the only people in all of Tamriel and then some...That had any true, sovereign right to the Ruby Throne in Cyrodiil. Narrator: "The Dragonfires were a barrier against invasion from the Planes of Oblivion that were created from the blood of Akatosh and given to Saint Alessia. The fires were relit whenever an heir ascended to the Ruby Throne. They were kept burning throughout his or her lifetime and represented the Covenant between the Cyrodiilic Empire and Akatosh. According to legend, the Dragonfires protected Nirn from Oblivion." Narrator: "The pedestal that served as a pyre may be found in the Temple of the One in the Imperial City, though there seems to have been no apparent connection between the ritual and the Alessian teachings. A Dragonborn Emperor had to use the Amulet of Kings to light the Dragonfires in the Sublime Brazier, a sacred cauldron located in the Dragonfire Cathedral deep beneath the Imperial Sewers. Once the Sublime Brazier was kindled, it would light the Dragonfires in the Temple of the One. The Dragonfires could also be lit directly from the Temple of the One."
Narrator: "During Zarius's time as the Minister of Education for all of the Empire proper, his acquisition of knowledge regarding historical and religious texts multiplied exponentially. He soon came to a miraculous conclusion; His Dragonborn status made him the only one with a genuine claim to the Ruby Throne. This revelation was met with unrest amongst the Thalmor, naturally..."
During this time of geopolitical unrest, Zarius Caro took control of the panicked Empire. 'Who is Zarius Caro, you ask? It was soon revealed that he was a Dragonborn; One of the ONLY people in existence that could light the Dragon Fires of the Ruby Throne!'. This was a common saying amongst the common peoples of the Empire.
Without many other options, Lord Caro was forced to act while the High Elves of the Thalmor were unexpectedly vulnerable for once in their lives. He harboured no love for the Thalmor. No quarter was given. He only explained it to them all once; Leave our lands, or face your destruction. Every single one of you. When they met his ultimatum with war, Zarius drove those elven supremacist dogs from his lands and took his place upon the fabled Ruby Throne. The Dragonfires having been lit, he was proclaimed the True Emperor and Titus Mede II was exiled to Solstheim.
As such, with the Thalmor ousted from the Empire proper and worship of a supposed Ten Divines restored? Zarius looked to re-establishing trade and assistance to both Hammerfell and Skyrim's plights...
