Charles H. Traub
“I worked on 99th floor of South Tower from 1989-90. One day in spring of 1990 I took my camera to the office and snapped a few pics. The views of uptown Manhattan and Statue of Liberty were always breathtaking. Except for some rainy days when the clouds obscured the view. On really windy days you could feel the whole building lurch back and forth , and every morning the rush from the express elevator ride up to 78th floor made my ears pop. I loved everything about that building.”

Dark Sky
After a trip along the East Coast we visited NY for the first time. We went to the WTC at night to get a closer look, only to find the sky foggy and windy. Despite not being a clear image the view to the top between the two Towers was very impressive. We also got up to the „Windows of the World“ Bar, not knowing that this place wouldn’t be there a year afterwards.

Look at those beautiful skyscrapers at night, all lit up and glistening against the open sky.
