“Hagfish produce slime the way humans produce opinions—readily, swiftly, defensively, and prodigiously.”
Ok that’s a very good line actually
it’s ya boy, ole worm
In fifth grade we were making little clay statues and mine came out shitty so I left a big air pocket in it so it would explode when the teacher put it in the kiln and it exploded so hard it destroyed ten other kids’s statues and they were all on the verge of tears I thought it was really funny I still do

The Sliding Scale of Gay Math Competence
contrary to popular belief, Gays can do math, but only at MAX CAPACITY, you can either invent the laws of gravity or you can cry over fractions
there is no in between
this is… the fairest call out I’ve ever received
you are like, incredibly correct
ive seen a lot of unintentionally VERY funny interpretations of Cain & Abel but portraying them as a couple of mid-1950s schoolyard boys having a “WHY I OUGHTA” fight is realy just splendid
Underwood Archives/The New York Times
From 1920 to 1934, New York’s large Jewish community experienced a sharp uptick in the number of observant Jews and rabbis.
Wine was permitted “for sacramental purposes” during Prohibition. That meant that Catholics and Jews were able to buy it. Catholics, however, used wine only during church ceremonies, whereas Jews consumed it at home every week to mark Shabbat (the Sabbath). It’s no surprise that many of the most famous bootleggers were Catholic or Jewish.
Every time I talk to my roommate I feel my pineal gland calcify and my third eye close a little bit more
Last night she asked me how many days there are in a year and I said “why do you not know that?” and she said “why the fuck would I need to know that?”
She’s getting ready for work rn while listening to the Carrie Underwood song from the Super Bowl at full volume
She keeps hanging this shit up around the house
Last night she was telling me about a car accident she was in years ago and she said they had to use the “jar of live” and I was like. Do you mean the jaws of life and she said “you don’t know what the jar of life is?”
She’s sitting next to me scrolling through a facebook meme page scream laughing and showing me literally every post and saying “what’s wrong? Are you okay” if I don’t laugh hard enough
We’re at her dads house it looks like this
This is like the straight equivalent of Get Out
Paras is lovely this time of year.

I gotta say, I love how knowledgeable you are, always writing posts about funky creatures and always adding more onto it later, it's always fun to read your blog as well as website!
Here is a completely random one as thanks!!
This flatworm with five “fingers” on its face lives exclusively on the bodies of giant water bugs, but it seems to be completely harmless to them and feeds only on microscopic detritus. Its like a waterbug’s remora fish!
