Maomyuu 3- Yuuri messes up for the third time and chaos ensues
First of all, yes I went to maoumyuu for the third time. On a Monday night. I honestly went thinking thereād be no one there and I d have my pick of seats. Wrong. They had 4 seats left, I bought one, and the other three, next to me were filled later so they had a full house, on Monday. Yay for maruma!
Today was āhigh touch day"; but before I get to that part, letās talk about everything else.
Play: So there were three mistakes in the play, small ones, nothing big.
Yuuri looking at Wolf for approval: So this has happened several times, today and the other times too and it goes like this: Near the end of the play Ā Yuuri looks at Wolf, Wolf gives him a nod of approval, Yuuri smiles and nods too. This happened the other times, too, and itās so cute!!! So today I saw him doing it after the last song (before the last scene and ending), and again right at the end of the ending song, they do the nods and the play finishes.
After the play:This time Yuuri didnāt forget what to say before the roses, so when he finished and did it right, again he looks at Wolf, Wolf nods, Yuuri smiles and nods too and they all leave.
Pre-roses speech: They come back with the roses and Yuuri picks Conrad to say a few lines. As soon as he says Conrad, Wolfram face-palms (literally face palms) and Shouri and Murata bend over holding back their laughter, Wolfram ends up bending too. I thought maybe Conrad was going to say something hilarious, but no.Ā After Connie introduced himself (his acting was better today), he says: āI think it wasnāt me who had to say something today.ā And the cast explodes in laughter that they were holding back. Yuuri says, āwell, yeah, but yoroshiku (do it anyways XD).ā
So he starts talking about a few things, and while he does Gwen keeps interrupting, pats his shoulder, gets the tip of his ponytail and tickles Conradās face, theyāre sort of talking, and then Wolfram starts singing for some reason XD?? and then Conrad finishes a short few lines and says letās start with the roses, and gestures lifting the roses. Someone in the back does the same gesture Gwen says why are they doing the gesture? And they laugh and talk and then Conrad says again, letās start!
As soon as he says: Letās start! A grasshopper jumps out of his roses and onto the floor, and it starts hopping around and around. Everyone stares, and Gwen immediately gets on his four to try and grab the grasshopper. While heās doing this, Wolfram sits on Gwenās back as if he was a horsey and Murata freaks out and runs out of the stage because, apparently, he has a terrible bug phobia. Shouri runs after Murata to bring him back. When heās back (and 3 meters and 5 cast members away from the bug) Shouri gives Mura a little push towards the area where the bug is, and Murata runs off stage again.Ā
Gwendal has been on the floor for 2 minutes now, and everyoneās sort of looking and hoping heād get the grasshopper, finally he gives his flowers to Conrad and says hold this! And he gets the grass hopper and takes it off stage (he was so careful with this damn bug, it was terribly endearing T-T). They come back and give the flowers and the play finishes.
I didnāt get a rose because I didnāt want one, I only had Adalbert near my seat.
High touch: So I leave almost last , and the guys are outside the door in line giving high fives to the girls leaving, not really saying much, some girls say thank you, most girls say nothing. In the line, the following characters: Gunter, Wolf, Josak, Shouri, Murata.
Gunter sees me first and smiles. He doesnāt say anything, but I can tell he recognizes me, High five. I say thank you, and immediately Wolfram sees me and says: HEY! with a big smile and twinkle in his eye and Iām caught terribly off-guard and reply with HEY! and a big smile -high five- and then all the other characters: Josak, Shouri and Murata say: HEY! to me, too, and Iām just cracking up and when I get to Murata I just smile and say: Hey! back with a shrug as in: I donāt know whatās going on, but yay!Ā
The funny thing is that they didnāt say anything to the people before me and the people after me. So I guess it pays to be a foreigner in Japan. They remember that 1 foreigner whoās at their plays.
I promised myself it would be the last time I went to maomyuuā¦ but that was before the chaos on stage and Yuta-kun being the cutest angel on earthā¦ nowā¦ I donāt knowā¦ XDDDD
