Undergames Announcement

Colors, Pidge, and I have all been ignoring UG lately. We’re a combination of busy, tired, and mostly just not feeling up to it. Also, I’m going to be gone for almost all of June, so we’ve decided to go on hiatus.

But that doesn’t mean the Undergames have to “stop”.

For now until our hosts are ready to, well, host again, the Undergames will be viewer-based!

Feel free to send us your screenshots, drawings, and anything else from your own Hunger Games parody games! The simulator we use can be found at http://brantsteele.net/hungergames/disclaimer.php, and it’s free to use ! We’ll post your submissions and probably add our own notes! You can even host your own Hunger Games live streams, and if you want, we’ll promote them!

What is The Undergames?

“The Undergames” story-wise is the canon story behind @breathingcolorsdraws’ OC character Colors. Along with @omegasmileyface’s OC character Aria [or maybe Omega??? It’s kinda unclear], they travel the multiverse kidnapping various people and monsters, forcing them to participate in this world’s version of The Hunger Games.

Why?

That’d be spoilers, of course. ;)

Content-wise, it’s just us streaming the Hunger Games simulator with Undertale-based characters involved, along with the occasional Undertale-based event!

When do The Undergames start?

The Undergames stream on Saturdays, around 4pm PST / 7pm EST if all goes as planned. Early posts will be made prior to the games beginning, with links to the stream found both in the post and posted to the Stream Team’s Discord server.

Where do we watch these streams?

The streams are commonly hosted on BreathingColors’ channel, found here: https://picarto.tv/BreathingColors

How long do the streams go on for?

There is an average of two games per stream, but there may be more or less depending on how available the hosts are.

I want to be in the games, too! How do I participate?

Only ONE of the three requirements to follow must be met for this:

You must attend the Saturday livestream (While characters are being cast).

You must be a friend of the admins.

You must be a “Senpai” (Fandom famous).

Can we make fanwork related to this blog?

Of course! Fanwork related to the activities of this blog are always welcome! Either submit to the blog itself, or post them to your own blog and tag @theundergames so we don’t miss it!

When can we join another game?

if you’re asking when the next game is, it’s usually on Saturday, but occasionally we’re busy and that’s not possible. We try to announce in advance when we’re not available.

If you’re asking about volunteering as tribute, There are some guidelines for if you can be in it:

At least one of the following is required:

1) You attend the stream while the tributes are being chosen

2) You’re a friend of the mods

3) You’re a Senpai

And feel free to send an ask if you’d like to volunteer!
