Lestat knows that Armand gets validation by being exploited sexually. So he uses this to basically fuck with him while he’s trying to apologize.

It would be a lot easier to just get validation in the way he has gotten it for years. But Armand is actually trying.

This is not to say Lestat should accept his apology, but that stunt mixed with the Big Boss lyrics just feels like:

You know what? Armand did tell the truth. Even if he didn’t, he did.

Louis being fucked up on drugs and mocking him is one thing but those two white people mocking him repeatedly and then fucking off to find his rapist so they can learn from him is something else entirely. Then one of them sings a song about it years later. There are so many racial undertones here, in both the books and the show, and no one is talking about it or taking it seriously.

Armand is too kind. I hope the remainder of the season is him causing absolute carnage because he’s earned it imo. I hope he does cause more damage than Akasha.
