something something about how louis uses arun to dismantle armand. in 2x04 when he first talks about his past is the first time louis sees him be truly and utterly vulnerable. in 2x05 when armand is about to kill daniel and louis stops him, "Are you asking, matire?" "No, Arun. I'm not asking" and he gets up and walks away. in 3x07 when armand stops the torture after louis brings up the harm done to arun.

there are definitely a lot of flaws with that scene (that whole episode honestly) but to me it seems like louis has found this the only way to completely snap armand back to the reality his actions, and i find it so interesting that armand has that distinct version of himself that just utterly breaks him.

A few years ago I thrifted a $900 Scandinavian vintage coffee table for $10 which is obviously my best accomplishment to date but now one of the legs is fucked because the hole the screw goes into is stripped and idk how to fix it….. and when I bought it I was like this is such a classic perfect wooden coffee table, it’ll last my whole life and I will pay for any repairs. But unfortunately I did not foresee living on an island with extremely limited resources ….. and I have a blind cat who jumps all over this table and I am so scared it’s gonna collapse one day…..cest la vie I guess I need to ask around for someone’s uncle who knows woodworking😔😔😔😔

2 years between seasons and seasons only being 6-8 episodes long has done so much damage to how people experience TV shows and made it a way more frustrating and exhausting experience to actually get invested

and yes I'm talking about iwtv/tvl

My one prevailing thought after watching the finale of The Vampire Lestat, and all of the episodes really, is that this season needed WAY more breathing room. 12 episodes rather than 7. That was A LOT, and everything felt rushed through (or not given enough attention in certain cases *cough cough*). Yeah, the post about how episode 7 felt like a mid season finale was bang on. I'm seeing a lot of negativity in the tags so I dunno how much I'll be on here for TVL, probably a little while longer, but thank you to those here that make the gifs and great analysis posts of the show, you brighten the fandom by being in it.

Any TVL cast member being interviewed: yeah so when I first read the script I wanted to murder Rolin with my bare hands :) haha yeah he butchered my character so badly that I threw my laptop across the room :) aha and then I yelled at him for two hours which only resulted in minor tweaks to the script :) yeah I was so shocked and confused :) and he comes up with scenes that don’t make any sense in-universe. :) and I worry for the future of this tv show :) but it’s alright as long as you think about how [5 min in depth analysis of details that the cast member has come up themselves to justify the season despite these justifications not being evident in the actual show at all] aha :)

I'm sorry, but if they positevly needed Armand to brand someone they could bring LBF back and give us a juicy torture-sex episode with Armand writing A on Daniel's chest, murmuring "You are mine, beautiful boy" and Daniel loving it as his masochistic dogboy simp, being sad it will heal too fast. But it would involve exploring DM + showing intimacy between men (gasp!), so they've decided to write kkk torture instead.
