Sometimes yumeshipping / selfshipping / self inserts isnt about you finding character x y character hot or pretty but leaning towards dynamics you wish you had and were real.

Okay ms Rui card found ALIVE and building one of his robots we’ve seen him with several times while he’s at Kamiyama, the way mizurui are looking at each other in Mizuki’s untrained and I would totally argue they’re looking at each other in the trained, Mizuki’s butterfly ribbon
Her whole outfit is cute in the untrained beyond the ribbon while Rui is wearing some dumb outfit as usual, also welcome back left handed Rui. They’re looking at each other so fondly in her untrained you can’t tell me otherwise
Also Rui working on his robot in the dark what’s wrong with him. That light would Not make it that much easier to see why are you messing with electronics when it would be hard as hell to see!! Turn a light on!! I get it he’s probably going through it just a bit because ms but still it feels like basic safety to see the electronics you’re working on. Strangling him. There’s visibly stronger light coming into the room why can’t he use that. The card name being “cloudiness of the heart” really fits I guess

Also if you look at the cupcake tray in their traineds it seems like they are genuinely sitting next to each other giving those looks. Also Rui with his rocket ship + platypus cupcakes while Mizuki has a heart and a flower, it’s so them
Can’t forget the backgrounds either. Rui with wxs color balloons behind him as the balloon guy and Mizuki with n25 color butterflies behind her (mizuena butterflies being the closest together you can really tell who helped Mizuki the most)
Mizuki is often referenced with ribbons which are important to her and her character but I think she should also have butterflies because look at her and the other times they’ve been around her
As for the food in front of them Rui kinda picking at the marshmallows from next to his drink as he pays more attention to Mizuki <3 AND the flower cupcake next to the cup like the one on Mizuki’s side of the cupcake tray I see you
Mizuki eating fries you literally cannot separate her from them. Also more to the right the flower drink there looks so good and the food even farther right having ribbons is cute
Them both having painted nails and matching patterned outfits as well is so important to me. Ignore that the other characters from this world link also have it that’s not important

I really can and will blame the 9-5 for everything. "We're in a loneliness epidemic" well, we have to spend a third of our day interacting with people in a professional way that makes forming real friendships difficult and then we're peopled out by the time we're done. "People are eating more and more unhealthily" people have to spend more than a third of their day doing work related tasks and they don't want to spend their tiny amount of free time making food. "People aren't involved in their local communities" after spending more than a third of their day doing work related things people are tired and also all those community events take place during normal working hours. "People need to get more hobbies" after spending more than a third of their day working, people are TIRED and don't want to do anything that takes yet more energy. "Literacy is dying" to maintain your critical thinking skills you need to read/watch things that make you think and after spending more than a third of your day doing work related stuff you are TIRED and don't want to expend even more brainnpower. "People need to get outside more" People. Are. TIRED. Because they have to spend all of their time working or preparing for work or recovering from work or doing all the chores they couldn't stay on top of because of work. I can blame fucking anything on having to work, it is truly the root of all fucking evil.
