The fact that we have SO LITTLE canon lore for Machina and its citizens as a whole is both exhilarating and frustrating
Machina blew up upon reaching the end of its life cycle, but it seems only a small handful of bots were privy to this information until it was "Throw everyone in a ship and get the hell outta Dodge RIGHT NOW" seems like
They run on electricity or fossil fuels, but there's no real evidence of how long they can go between needing to recharge (Buffalo Crush seems to have terrible gas mileage in comparison to the others, it appears, even once his leak is repaired)
They will rust and malfunction if wet for too long, but no idea how quickly that sets in (and Deep Bite seems to not have any problems, so it's not a species-wide problem apparently)
No real cultural information of what life was like on Machina other than that the Star Guardians were held in high regard
Can they get sick outside of being "overstimulated" from too much energy at once (Like Blastrain)? Could they 'catch' viruses from infected devices that they take power from?
What level of resilience to earth chemicals do their frames possess? Can harsher cleaning products strip their color or cause acid burns to their metal if in contact for too long?
Once "born," do they have periods of time similar to childhoods where they're given tutelage by older cardbots? Are those tutors assigned or do they just have to wander around until someone is kind enough to take them in under their wing? If not, do they just activate with all the knowledge they'll need granted by Deus Machina?
I have so many ideas and yet I feel paralyzed to write fanlore that might be debunked later XD
