Wave City (by Stelios Mousarris)

Inspired by the film Inception, this table is a well balanced mixture of wood, steel and 3D printed technology. Wave City by designer Stelios Mousarris is a beautiful example of the elegant and complex pieces that can be created by 3D printing and in more than ‘just’ plastics. This particular piece is created from wood and steel and builds on Mousarris’ history of creating pieces that defy the forms expected of the materials with which they are produced.

With the aim of building my new brand identity (corporate stationery and website included), and in light of the inability to design my own logotype I decided to refocus the project and go one step further elavorating a graphic aproach to my thoughts and feelings during the creative process. The goal: Build a brand explaining —and learning— something about me, my work and the way I focus it. The way: Translate the emotions, thoughts and feelings experienced during all the steps of the process into something graphically designed. The result: A mixture of experimental and therapeutic project with more than 20 diferent self illustrations (and growing) that works as a non logo liquid brand.

Bulls Bay Saltworks

Rustin and Teresa Gooden use a sustainable process to harvest salt from Bulls Bay, not far from our home base in Charleston. We designed a flexible identity system and labels, featuring unique character illustrations for each variety. A simple Squarespace website was built to sell the products online.
