Joel 2:12
The only way out is through.
i have not stopped thinking about this goodreads review for a MOMENT since i read it. it pingpongs in my head at all times. yesterday i walked into the kitchen and i realized i hadn't washed the pot from the night before, and said coldly, "the work of a sad little man who needs to see the ocean." unreal. i know i am changed.
(backseating you at the mortar and pestle) man you aint even squarshing it
products are so bad now that i have to do approximately 8 hours of research before i buy anything
God does not love people because Christ died for them; Christ died for them because God loved them.
—Sam Storms

For if we died with Him, we will also live with Him; if we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will also deny us; if we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.
2 Timothy 2:11b-13
I love these verses. After “If we deny Him, He will also deny us,” you naturally expect “If we are faithless” to be followed by “He will be unfaithful to us,” but that’s not what it says. It says, “He remains faithful.”
If we deny Jesus, He will deny us. The Bible makes that very clear. But in our unfaithfulness to Him—even in our extraordinary acts of unfaithfulness—He remains faithful.

I wonder if God made cardinals bright red so that, in the depths of gray winter, we could have a little glimpse of spring.
