Our first witchy task is over and it’s time to announce who gets the customized icons. The randomizer decided and our first winners are @bvrnedatthestake and @pvaefortis! Congratulations and I will come to your inbox during the day to talk about what icons would you like exactly.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the task and I hope that everyone enjoys the network so far. Another task will be posted next month, so if anyone has any ideas regarding this, I’m happy to take suggestions.

As this whole network was created to help finding witches who could plot with each other, your first task is to do just that - plot. Start threads with each other and submit a link to the thread to this blog (thewitchnetwork) until Tueasday (26th January) midnight GMT. If you do this, your and your partner’s name will be put on a list from which I will choose a winner on Wednesday with the help of a randomizer who will get 50 customized icons of a face claim of their choosing and the psd coming with it.

RULES

Only threads with more than 1 note count, so starters aren’t enough.

Only theads between two characters who are both part of the network count.

Sending in more links from the same account either with the same partner or with someone else increases your chance to win.

Both people in the thread will get icons.

Participation is not compulsory. Have fun.

first of all i just wanna say thank you so much for making this blog! it's a genius idea and i absolutely love it. :) secondly i wanted to ask if there is a member limit? usually when i think networks i think 'limited members' and i just just wanted to know if it is so with this blog?

Aww, thanks so much for that. I’m really glad people think it was a good idea. And to answer your question, no, this network doesn’t have a limit. I needed to make this blog as opposed to running it in my rp account because I didn’t want to limit the number of members. This way, it’s completely managable.

Hey! I (witchyserena) decided to make a blog for the witch network because it started to get uncontrollable on my rp account since so many of you wanted to be a part of it. I still need to get the pages up to date but I’ll be following everyone from this blog and I ask every member to follow back. Only network stuff will be posted here so it won’t mess up your dash.

There are a lot of wonderful indie witches, both canons and OCs, in the tumblr roleplay communitiy. But it’s not so easy to find them and make connections. So, the aim of this witch network is to find most of you, make plots together and build our own IC and OC magic community.

RULES & GUIDELINES

Reblog this post if you want to be apart of the network. Likes doesn’t count. (When reblogging, don’t delete the rules part.)

Fill in the short form bellow as you reblog the thing. There is no application process or anything, but it would be nice to get a basic picture of your character.

Follow your fellow witches according to the blogroll. I understand that following people your character wouldn’t interact with would be bothersome, so following everyone is not compulsory. But the aim of the network is to meet new people so don’t be shy.

You can be fandomless or part of any fandom but you need to be a singlemuse blog.

We won’t be an existing IC coven, but you can still expect lots of plotting and the witches will possibly know each other or of each other. The mystic community is not huge, so it’s not hard to gain a reputation.

There will be monthly tasks posted just for fun. You can decide whether to do these; it won’t be mandatory to participate.

Everything connected to the network will be posted on this blog (thewitchnetwork).

Everyone is welcome to invite other witches.
