It’s raining tonight and the sound is peaceful and lovely. I think it’s more special at this time of year, for all too soon it will be flurries rather than raindrops. I know it is not goodbye, for the rhythm will come again in the spring, but still I shall miss the sound. The verdant landscape that gave way to gold, amber, and scarlet hues, now fade to dull shades of brown decay, color bleeding into shades of grey. There is a kind of melancholy as nature tucks herself away for the season and drifts off to sleep, and though above the wind will swirl and rage and turn the world cold, down deep she will rest, carefully tending the hope of new life that shall be born again. ~dd
Ich kann einen Menschen vermissen und mich dennoch nicht melden, auch wenn es mir weh tut.
