The Yacht Club - The Yacht Club Zarif of themathrockblog show this artist to me a while ago and really caught my attention. I even made a short review on them. Well, they released a new EP and I can only say that it is as good as the debut. And don’t think I forgot about breakingthemusic, but rarely I have time to update my blog dudes. I always say I’ll try to be more active, but in the end I cannot. I can only apologize to all of you. But I’m trying to get back to be more active with the blog, only it’s a more difficult than I though. If you have patience, thank you :)

Friends in Basingstoke/Amazingstoke/Yolostoke and the surrounding areas - if you’re free the Thursday after next, come hang at this! The Yacht Club are headlining this gig with good friends Atiptoe and the show is being put on by our good friend Tom Hill who recorded both A and the new EP and is one half of Heartbreak Therapy, and the other acts are all super sweet. Tickets are only £3 as well so there’s plenty of wiggle room if you’re on a tight budget. Come hang out, it’s gonna be great!

London friends! Here's a picture of Marcus doing a sing last night for the new EP. We want loads of oohs and aahs and claps on the record but there's only four of us and we want these to sound massive.

Tracking vocals tonight.

We got the instrumental mixes of the new tracks back yesterday and they’re sounding immense! Everything’s almost done now, all that’s left is vocals on Monday and that’s a wrap. Some exciting news concerning the EP release is coming soon (and hopefully some news on a vinyl presss of A too) so keep your eyes peeled for that! We’ve worked so hard on this and can’t wait to get it out to you guys. TYC x
