I need to figure out a way to regulate my hyperfixations. Bc I have been stuck in a cycle of drawing all day for ~2 months and then getting burntnout and depressed for 1... idk something tells me that's not healthy.

Also, as much as I hate to keep changing their character designs and lore, I really wasnt happy with it. Des' appearance hadn't been sitting with me right and I really did not care for Candis' personality. Honestly, I do believe that these two have and will always be ever changing to suit whatever I feel like drawing and representing in that moment

Went to the park yesterday and drew a tree. I have been very into trees and clouds recently bc of how vast they are

I did end up finishing the painting that I’ve been talking about but i don’t like how it turned out because it was too simple and the colors kinda looked ugly. I’ve been using a 12 pk of acrylic gouache left over from my semester at school and they are way too neon for my liking.

Acrylic and gouache practices. I forgot how thin acrylic paint is. I wanted to be able to layer colors to mimic my digital process, gouache was a lot better for that. Might try oil eventually

I have been thinking about getting back into painting.. and honestly just trying to apply myself more artistically. I feel pretty stagnated only drawing humans. I very much enjoy drawing scenes with fun perspectives and compositions, but I have really fell out of it mostly bc 1. they take a lot longer and 2. color theory does not come naturally to me.

These are doodles that turned into a draft for something to paint. I decided to thrift the supplies to half ass make a canvas, so we will see how that goes.

It is kinda funny to me that I have so many "headcanons" for my ocs when literally nothing is stopping me from making it canon. Honestly, embarrassment stops me from drawing so many things that I want to draw!
