trying to hook up my keyboard to my arturia microfreak

my microfreak doesn't have a 5 pin midi input or USB midi, it has a 3.5mm input for midi and the synth came with a cable that puts 5 pin into that weird thing

my keyboard only has USB midi output, no 5 pin

USB midi cables never go USB midi to USB midi, they go USB midi to usb

as such, I must resort to adapter & cable telephone.

keyboard -> USB midi -> h2midipro (which I have to program with a computer) -> 5pin midi -> weird adapter the microfreak came with -> microfreak

my sasscore project may never get off the ground
