So, you want to end what we have. Is that what you’re saying? I..I don’t think that I can be just your friend, Cat. I’d always want more than that, and I, frankly, don’t think that I can do a serious relationship. I think I’m too broken beyond repair for that.

“Really now? Yeah, I kind of am. I mean, I had you satisfied, didn’t I? You’re lucky. Not many people see my smile. At least while I’m at work. Just my smile though?”

“I guess so. I’ll see what I can do to distract you. I’m sure that I’m not the only one that’s so fond of my body parts. I seem to remember you having a liking to certain body parts.”

“I hope everything is okay. Or at least will be okay. I can do my best to make you forget, if that’s what you want or need. I’m fine with them jumping on me. I’m just..very fond of my body parts.”

Zeke: That sounds more like it. I can actually believe that one.

Cat: You're right... Devastated is too strong a word. I'd be sad? Is that too weak of a word? How about... heartbroken? Not too strong, not too weak. ;P

Cat: Princess, huh?

Zeke: How about you just tell me that you miss me and you don't want me to go anywhere?

Zeke: Yeah. I figured I'd try something other than babe.

“Okay if you say so,” she grinned. “But be warned I may end up saying other slightly lame things tonight.” Cat followed the male to his car quietly. A blush took over her cheeks at his compliments as she gave a smile. She honestly couldn’t remember if he had but it didn’t matter really. A compliment whether it was repeated was always graciously taken. “Thank you,” she smiled. “You don’t look so bad yourself.” The brunette glanced down as he laced their fingers trying to keep her heart from racing as she looked away in attempt to hide the smile gracing her lips.

Zeke shook his head slowly at her latest statement. “Well, as long as they’re cute, which I’m sure they will be, then it’s okay.” Continuing to walk with her, he couldn’t help but look at her. It was like he was magnetized to her. “You’re welcome.” Without missing a beat, he automatically had a come back for her. “Oh really? Well, you should see me naked.” When they reached his car, he unlocked the door and opened it for her. He helped her inside before moving to get into the vehicle himself.

Cat couldn’t help but smirk a little at the male’s comment. “We’ll see about that,” she commented teasingly. A soft giggle left her lips as he winked not minding the flirting at all. A laugh left her lips as he began speaking again and shook her head lightly. “It was definitely lame,” she chuckled before he stepped forward and wrapped around her and pressed a kiss to her nose. A light pink blush tinted her cheeks as he said he thought it was cute. Nodding softly, the tiny brunette grabbed her purse as she pulled away from Zeke. “Ready,” she smiled.

Hearing her laugh, Zeke ran his fingers through his hair, noticeably making it stand on it’s ends just a bit. He shook his head again, a lopsided smile gracing his lips. “No. It was not all that lame, okay? Just slightly lame.” Watching her grab her purse, he stepped out of the door to have her follow him out, walking to his car. “Did I tell you how pretty you look tonight?” He honestly couldn’t remember, but it never hurt to say it again, especially since it was the truth. Zeke reached over, taking her hand into his, lacing their fingers together.

“Would’ve been a great guess,” she spoke lightly as she nodded. “Another date? Let’s get through this one first before I agree to another date.” Cat wasn’t doubtful in the least about this date or even going on another one with the male but she, for some reason, felt the need to say it. “Oh alright fine,” she giggled softly before nodding again. “Ready Freddy.” The brunette inwardly face palmed as soon as the words she said registered in her brain. “Okay that was really lame wasn’t it,” she questioned trying to suppress a nervous chuckle.

“C’mon,” Zeke said with a smirk. “I’m pretty definite that you’re going to want a second date after tonight.” Quickly, he winked at her, just feeling the need to flirt with her still. Seeing the look on her face after what she said, a smile just stayed on his lips. “No, no. Not lame. Okay, maybe a little. But I thought it was cute.” Stepping forward, he wrapped an arm slowly around her waist before pressing a small kiss to her nose. He pulled away, face just inches from hers. “You ready to go?”

Cat raised her hand to her mouth to hide a giggle that was trying to leave her lips as he pulled the flowers out. “How cute,” she teased as she took them from him a smile on her lips. Moving towards her kitchen and  leaving the front door open so he could come in, she pulled out a vase she quickly set the flowers up before looking over at the male. “Daisies by the way,” she spoke again. “Those are my favorite flowers.” The tiny brunette moved back towards the male as she pulled some of her hair over her shoulder. “So where did you pick to take me,” she questioned curiously. “Some place good I would hope.”

Eyes stayed glued to her as she accepted the flowers and started to walk somewhere else into the apartment. He was skeptical about stepping inside, considering she didn’t technically invite him in, but he took a step inside anyways. Hearing her voice brought him out of his thoughts, and he was thankful for that. “Daisies. I almost went with those, but I’ll make a mental note for another date.” He licked his lips, rubbing his hands together as she walked towards him. “Ah. That, mi’lady, is a secret, until we get there.” He had no clue how she was going to react to where he was taking her. Zeke just hoped that she liked it. “Are you ready to go now?”
