this is an aesthetic help blog! it’s centered around moodboards, layouts, blog themes, aesthetic image finding, color palettes, and bio/stays/description help! the main theme is for alterhumans and otherkin, but reqests are open to everyone!

please read my guidelines and the description for a specific request before submitting anything!

┇general info 🌿 GUIDELINES • tagging system

┇requests 🌿 moodboards: moodboards for anything you want, mainly alterhuman and otherkin centered but anything under my guidelines is welcome! layouts / blog themes: layouts will give a profile picture and a header as default. if you'd like alternates, more than one, or anything additional please lmk! if you want specific edits (flags, borders, etc ) done to a picture please specify in detail. if it’s for a specific platform let me know and i can give addition resources depending on what it is. blog themes are a part of this, and include colors with an addition image for pinned use if wanted. discord layouts include profile colors according to nitro. with flag profile pictures, i typically add 1-2 alternates depending on the platform. tumblr layouts usually gets a square pop out, and other platforms get circular flag borders. [ no credit needed! would be cool if you rb’d if you use it for tumblr but i’m not forcing you ] aesthetics: aesthetic image help separate from moodboards or layouts. defaults to 3 images (may add more if i find good stuff). if you need / want a specific number for either just ask! bio / status / quote: if you'd like help finding or coming up with a specific quote or tagline for an aesthetic or bio! just gimme themed or what to include and i'll see what i can do :) playlists: give me a general theme, character, theriotype / kintype, and i'll give you a list of songs related to it! you can also give me genres to play with / exclude if wanted! default is 5 songs, max is 10, though specific numbers are absolutely welcome! i'll also throw in a playlist title and cover image that fits the vibe!

blog updates; requests back open!

hey everyone! i’ve gotten through a majority of the requests (aside from a handful of playlist ones which i’ll do tomorrow), so i’m deciding to open requests back up!

going forward i’ll most likely keep them open for much longer, and simply just do the handful i can do a day in order of how they come in. wait time will just depend on how many requests i have as well as my availability yk?

i’ll only really close em again if i get a crazy number and it makes the wait time way long. also!! thank you so much to everyone who sent a non request ask in! a lot of them were really sweet so they were nice to see, also a nice break from requests lmao.

I rlly like your blog :3 I'm a blue heeler service dog and I'm also a guardian angel, specifically one with white wings that look like they have strawberry frosting and sprinkles and a halo shaped like a soft star! I know that's really specific, but I wondered if you could do a moodboard with like blue heeler puppies, service dog accessories, and strawberry frosting/sprinkles, and/or maybe some angelcore or general dogcore things? hiya!! curious if it would be possible for a coyote/werecoyote (whatever seems to be best for you) layout? inspired by pine trees / dark pine aesthetics? tysm for the opportunity <3

i love a good werecoyote theme so this was really neat! i did a bit of both plain coyote and werecoyote for the profile picture and header respectively. i also kept to a dark pine aesthetic, with implying a werecoyote theme through the pine forest and moon. hope you enjoy!

hi max :) can i uhh. get a moodboard for a ringtail cat with a muted out, kinda shoegaze (music)-like theme? i’m not super sure what it would really be described as but i have the song for it: “norway” by beach house.

if it at helps, muted periwinkle or blue, soft death motifs (“mortem,” haha) like bones or such, etc. i kinda just want to see what you do with these :)

Hey do you think you could link where you find your images? Crediting the artist goes for moodboards as well and even if you can't be 100 % sure about the op even a pinterest link is better than nothing /nm /reminder

hm. okay. this ask gets a complicated long answer.

before i state my response and opinion on this, i want to note i myself am an artist, and i’ve consulted many artists AND photographers on this topic, including my own father who is a professional artists and has to deal with stolen art CONSTANTLY.

straight up, i’m not going to be doing this. here’s why;

i have a hard strict rule that i will NOT use any art in its stereotypical meaning (drawn or painted) for any board. the ONLY exceptions to this is if it’s made by the requester, given to me by the requester, or are old / antique paintings. i also will not use a photo with a watermark because that clearly indicates they’re trying to profit off this photo, and don’t want it stolen.

with this, i only use pinterest for my moodboards and layouts. pinterest is viewed by a lot of people as free reign because 99% of it is reposted from somewhere else. is that okay? absolutely not but what can you do. most of it isn’t professional photography, simply random stock or pictures taken by normal people on their phone. half the photos on pinterest are posted by ad sites, or are stolen 99 times over. if you reverse image search an image i use, all that will show up is an avalanche of different pinterest links.

i’m not gonna be posting pinterest links because that feels like a bigger slap in the face than than no credit. that’s giving credit to someone who did not create it, which is even worse in my opinion than crediting nothing. that’s not better than nothing to me.

i will absolutely give credit if i know the explicit source of an image, that i will happily do. but if i don’t know the real source, i’m not. i am fully open and honest that NOTHING i post is my own except the formulation of boards and layouts, that i feel is enough. also finding the actual first explicit source of an image is near impossible when from pinterest.

l i have never seen any other moodboard account ever do this, so this isn’t like an overarching common sense rule i’m ignoring. also when you make a layout for your account, unless it’s art do you ever put link or photo credit? i have never seen that in my time on social media, and no offense anon i don’t think you do it either, no one does!

so TLDR; i’m not gonna be doing this. it seems more disrespectful than giving zero credit, and to me these images feel like they don’t need credit in general. if anyone has any other insight and opinions that side with why pinterest link credit should be given, please enlighten me, but i doing my opinion will change.
