1550ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲ ಮುದ್ರಣ ಪೋರ್ಚುಗೀಸ್ ಜೂಸಿಯೆಟ್ ಪಾದ್ರಿಗಳು ಮಾಡಿದರು. 1776ರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಲಿಯಂ ಬೋಲ್ಟ್ಸ್ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಿ ಈಸ್ಟ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ವಿರೋಧ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.1780ರಲ್ಲಿ ಜೇಮ್ಸ್ ಅಗಸ್ಟಸ್ ಹಿಕ್ಕಿ “ಬೆಂಗಾಲ್ ಗೆಜೆಟ್” ಅನ್ನು ಜನವರಿ 20ರಂದು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.1780 ನವೆಂಬರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ “ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಗೆಜೆಟ್” ಅನ್ನು ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು ಇದು ಭಾರತದ ಎರಡನೇ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.1784ರಲ್ಲಿ “ಕಲ್ಕತ್ತಾ ಗೆಜೆಟ್” ಮೂರನೇ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿತು.1785ರಲ್ಲಿ…
