Being considerate of others

What would you think if someone straight up told you "I'm not considerate of others because I just do not care at all about others" personally my first thought is that if I was injured or if I died they wouldn't give a shit. I had someone tell me that tonight, and it just irritates me because I try to be as considerate of this persons feelings as I can be I try my hardest to think of them while I think of myself to make sure that what I'm doing doesn't negatively affect them. Does it work 100% of the time? Hell no but I try, this person however is so blatantly inconsiderate and mean it's baffling and I don't understand how people get to that point. Are they born that way or is it a learned thing? I think I'm just done if this person went back to their home state at the end of the week I don't think it would hurt my feelings, would I miss living with someone else? sometimes, because it can be lonely. Would I miss the help with the rent? Very much so, but I think I could still handle it I would be broke but I could deal with it. Idk I'm just done trying to be nice to this person and it hurts me to have gotten to that point but I have 😟☹️🙁😕😔
