INFJs: From an INTJ's Perspective
Hey all, INTJ here. INFJ asked me to do a post on my observations of INFJs, so here it is. Enjoy. :)
1 - INFJs are like onions. They have many layers and can make you cry if you somehow manage to peel back to many layers too quickly.
2- INFJs, while being outwardly friendly and seeming like they are the most gentle and pure of anyone out there, can actually be incredibly morbid on the inside. They also have dark senses of humor in some cases and can surprise people with their hidden opinions which can be rather draconian
3 - You guys need to wear bells around your necks. You come and go so quietly that I never know if you’re there or not. One moment I’ll take note of you standing a ways away talking to someone then the next you’re right next to me. INFJs are also so good at hide-and-seek that you’ll find them asleep under your porch hours later when you accidentally fall down the steps and happen to see underneath.
4 - After you’ve twisted your ankle by falling down the stairs INFJs will drag themselves out from under the porch and help you out, even if you don’t want help. (It’s seriously amazing how much you INFJs care. Keep it up! :))
5 - INFJs can DESTROY you in any kind of board game, but they choose not to in order to spare your feelings.
6 - If you’re kidnapped, your INFJ friend is the most likely to rescue you. They suddenly become proficient with an array of awesome weaponry when their friends are in danger. I’d feel sorry for the kidnappers (even though I have tertiary Fi, lol)…
7 - They are social chameleons. I don’t know how you all do it, but if you want to you can fit in with any group you want to. Also good at acting. Like, wow.
8 - If you pick a fight with one, prepare to lose in the long run. After the argument they will compose angry and deep-cutting poetry that will have you in the hospital for brain trauma.
9 - INFJs, you all need to give yourselves more credit. You’re always ready to say it was someone else that made the plan work, but you guys are often the ones who make sure all the little pieces fall neatly into place.
What I’m attempting to say is that INFJs are incredibly multifaceted and they only show some of those facets to the world. They each have hidden talents and are reluctant to show them off, but boy are they amazing when they let you see what they are capable of. Each INFJ I’ve known has been loyal and has had my back through thick and thin, and I appreciate that immensely.
INFJs, what are your thoughts?
