Holy shit
“Sing Sing a song Make it simple To last your whole life long Don’t worry that it’s not good enough For anyone else to hear Sing Sing a song” . A song originating from Sesame Street that’s stuck with me my entire life. It popped into my head, so I decided to doodle while listening to it. ♥️ . #curiahcity #chibi #cute #singing #musician #monster #sesamestreet #feelgood #furry #dailydraw #delsharkocs (at San Diego, California)

The reboot of ReBoot is the most perplexing take on an old franchise we’ve ever seen.
So basically it’s Code:Lyoko that falls into the usual cliches (black guy is the jock and the powerhouse, white guy is the leader, token girl).
Minus the cliches, it doesn’t look bad (though I’m still disappointed that the role of the lead had to be white whereas they looked for any ethnicity for the other leads). It just seems odd to make this the focus rather than doing an actual reboot of “Reboot” like Voltron.
What do y’all think?
Speaking as someone who wtchd the original show: not good. Who wanted this franchise to DROP almost all of its characters along with its entire premise of wacky computer-world peoples in wacky computer-world sitiuations in favor of a high school drama about teenagers in VR suits? There's no benefit to trading that for basically a power rangers ripoff. You lose every single thing that made the original successful, in favor of a formula that people got tired of decades ago.
Trump needed a note card to meet with staff and students of Florida shooting Found here
There’s a clearer photo of this too
He could only be assed to take thirty minutes out of his golfing schedule to listen to kids who nearly died because of his party’s policies and he not only brought crib notes in case he forgot where he was or how to pretend he’s a human again but he ignored everything they had to say and just repeated the NRA bullshit about fortifying and arming schools like they’re fucking prisons.

Taaffeite was first discovered already cut and polished in Ireland in 1945. At the time it was mislabeled as a spinel, but upon further inspection it was determined that the mineral was actually a new and yet to be identified gemstone. It was eventually named after Count Taaffe, the Dublin gemologist that discovered it.
I can’t find it now but the staff at neopets once said in answer to some user question that they don’t actually have the original hi-resolution art files backed up for most site items including the “petpets” of which there are thousands and if that doesn’t give your inner artist multiple small heart attacks nothing will

Choosing fashion made from hemp or grilling the waiter about how your fish was caught is no substitute for systematic change.
“Instead of buying expensive organic sheets, donate that money to organizations that are fighting to keep agricultural runoff out of our rivers.
Instead of driving to an organic apple orchard to pick your own fruit, use that time to volunteer for an organization that combats food deserts (and skip the fuel emissions, too).
Instead of buying a $200 air purifier, donate to politicians who support policies that keep our air and water clean.
Instead of signing a petition demanding that Subway remove one obscure chemical from its sandwich bread, call your local representatives to demand they overhaul the approval process for the estimated 80,000 untested chemicals in our products.
Instead of taking yourself out to dinner at a farm-to-table restaurant, you could take an interest in the Farm Bill and how it incentivizes unhealthy eating.”
Reminder that “there is no ethical consumption under late stage capitalism ” is a call to action, not complacency.
The drama of almost any mecha fiction has always been ruined for me by the realization that by the time we had technology like that, we would already have the technology for it to be remotely controlled by VR and nobody would ever have to actually pilot them inside.
I think this is fairly common but I basically thought every single thing happening in cartoons when I was small enough was supposed to be literal and real in that cartoon’s context. I didn’t understand or just didn’t pay attention to the idea that some things were dream sequences, symbolism or just jokes. I watched the shit out of Muppet Babies and somehow didn’t get that all their adventures were meant to be imaginary around their little nursery. I ascribed no meaning at all to the way the show would shift wavily between their fantasies and reality. I just thought the muppet babies could go inside their closet and be in a dragon’s cave, whatever, it’s a cartoon.
Folks talk like the Marvel Cinematic Universe marked the point where America’s taste in movies turned nerdy - like, do we need to be reminded that even before the MCU, the highest-grossing films on record were the sequel to an adaptation of a Disneyland ride, an actual J R R Tolkien piece, and an historical romance about a boat?
You may or may not have heard that Wes Archer recently posted a rarely seen King of the Hill short on his instagram.
This was created in partnership with the Will Rogers Institute for awareness and fighting against childhood cancer.
It’s a pretty funny short and honestly even though it jokingly calls itself a movie– I would honestly watch a King of the Hill movie with this climax.
Wouldn’t you?
