Clarke: I’m not going to kill you. It takes too much time to break in a new right hand man.

lmao still can’t believe that Jason Rothenburg thought he could erase 6 years of Bellarke when he full well knows he’s dealing with a fandom that still writes in Wells Jaha as a main character in almost every fic, despite the fact that he killed Wells in like the second episode of the show and never brought him back
sometimes i think about them and feel tremendously, profoundly sad
Since i refuse to rewatch (aka physically hurts to rewatch) can someone tell me if we see anyone other than Clarke and Octavia give Bellamy shit for slaughtering an army sent to protect him?
Because in my memory Raven and co love to hold everything Clarke’s ever done over her head but…not him?
Unpopular T100 opinion. "Spacekru" was the true "villain" in S5. My god, i hated their guts when they were together and all the shit they did after the got to Earth again. By the end of the season, i was literally like "Clarke, hun, just take Maddie and maybe Bellamy, go to the woods and just let everyone else die". This is how much i despised Spacekru and that says a lot because i hate the grounders.
Ohhhh fuck spacekru. Fuck the idea of spacekru and the air spacekru breathes. I hated that so much.
No one wanted to see that dynamic. No one was like “I hope they break up the 100 and have these relationships that developed off screen be seen as closer than the ones we watched develop for four seasons!” Blaming Clarke for everything and being grateful for exactly two seconds. HATED IT.
Bellamy gets to go live in the woods with Clarke and Madi but he’s never allowed to speak of spacekru again 💀 the ONLY relationship that developed in the time jump that I felt anything other than contempt for was Clarke and Madi, and it’s because we got to see her struggle and how much she needed Madi.
The best part about S5 and onwards on The 100 was clearly Becho. Everyone was like "where did that come from" and "It's so ooc for B" and i was like "guys, come on the buildup was there since S4. Bellamy threatening to kill her multiple times and breaking her neck with a chain, E almost killing O and threatening and wanting to kill C. I mean come on, the sexual tension and kinky energy was there in S4". (jk)
Oh yes!! I especially loved the electric chemistry and how happy and in love Bellamy seemed in all of their scenes.
Sick of people pretending that anything about the 100 made sense after season 4. Characterization, plot, relationships… it was all a nonsensical hot mess. Hmu if you did understand seasons 5-7 bc you’re stronger and wiser than me
The danger of tripping down Bellarke rabbit holes is the risk you might fuck around and trick yourself into conducting a partial rewatch.
From Script to Screen - Episode 611 "Ashes to Ashes” Scene 2
Second up, we have Octavia and Bellamy’s emotional scene in the cave.
we were fed but also robbed
got any unpopular t100 opinions?? 👀 👀
Oh yes you know I do.
-at the end of the day Bellamy and Clarke are the only characters I consistently loved through all six seasons (yes six)
-I did like Murphy… But S6 murphy pissed me off and felt a little like character regression.
-Octavia is overrated. She’s cool sometimes but she’s overrated and she constantly treated Bellamy like shit. No thanks.
-Raven was AMAZING in S1 but after that she became annoying to me. The constant bitching at Clarke and acting like she was so much better than everyone else? Yikes (shipped Murven HARD though)
-Clarke >>> Raven and Octavia
-I don’t like Jasper after S1 and even then upon rewatching I liked him less than I did on my first watch of S1
-I hated the grounders. The constant fighting over dumb shit and ruining everything season after season and then blaming Skaikru got VERY old. Indra had rights though (Adina 🤌🏻) and Roan was also cool.
-S6 was good. S5 was not.
-Lexa and clxa was overrated and toxic and that arc for Clarke was when she was at her absolute least likable and darkest point. Lexa was a cool enough character but I was never on the major hype train. I don’t like Flarke either, but fact that the narrative later ignored Flarke completely as if Lexa mattered to Clarke more than Finn did is bullshit and pandering.
-Wells Jaha and Wellarke brotp rights. Wells was the best friend clarke ever had (aside from Bellamy)
-I was happy when Abby died and I mean that
-Fuck echo. It’s not unpopular but fuck echo. Just because.

if jroth and the writers didn’t write bellarke romantically that’s their prerogative. frankly at this point if they’d thrown bellamy and clarke together romantically at the last moment despite insisting for years that their relationship is entirely platonic it would have been another example of fanservice for an m/f relationship, especially after the horrible bury your gays death lexa endured. it would have been completely fine if bellarke wasn’t romantically canon, because bellamy and clarke care for each other deeply. what i’m mad about is that jroth threw away years of development of this relationship, wasting the deaths and sacrifices of other characters (usually characters of color), and had clarke kill her own best friend despite all they’d gone through together, to repeat the same storyline of clarke making yet another unforgivable and irreversible mistake to protect her child, and bellamy betraying his friends and family over a cult, instead of having them learn from their previous wrongs and “do better,” as monty said.
bellarke is unique because romantic or not, there was love in their relationship. they were a family, and canonically considered each other that way. bellamy is literally the heart of the show, and as jroth stated himself, without bellamy, there is nothing. six years of storytelling and development, wasted in exchange for shock value. ruining both bellamy and clarke’s characters for shock value. whether or not bellarke was romantic, that will never not be okay, and both of them deserved better than that.
Josephine to Clarke: no we're back on our bullshit.
