Hello, I am Richard Papen.

I am a student of classics at Hampden University. I was informed that I "had to" make a blog of some kind so that other people can deal with my musings, instead of "badgering [my] friends incessantly." The words were hurtful, but I'm taking the advice.

There isn't much else to know about me. Regrettably, I am from California. Please don't engage with me if you are stupid, I don't have patience for that.

The person behind this account is likely autistic. I am also not American and not as smart as Richard. Please be patient! Also I am in the UK so be aware of the BST timezone!!!! I also do not speak any other language but English.

The person behind this account is a self-taught classics enjoyer. I am best versed in the Greeks, especially Homer's The Iliad. Do understand that I will not know everything. I may be an English Literature major, but I am not as knowledgeable on the classics as I would like.

His plan was fool-proof. A solid, well thought out plan. All Richard had to do was show up to her dorm and show her the fact that he was indeed drunk, and was not want her. He was drunk and not intending to hook-up with her, and she would see just how exactly he wasn't hooking up with her!

Richard psychs himself up, and strides towards the door, knocking firmly. "Rika! Come out here! I am proving a point!"

She laughs from the other side.

She opens the door, one strap of the lace trimmed tank top she wore hanging off her shoulder.

“Proving a point? What point is there to make?” She teases, letting him in.

“But if you’re so determined, I suppose I’m willing to indulge you.” She hums, retreating back to her bed and picking up her book, some Shakespeare text required for her English class.
