In 2018 we printed over 3 million newspapers […] here at Newspaper Club for creative people all over the world. Below are 18 that stood out over the year, for one reason or another […] It would be impossible to come up with a list of the “best” things we printed, but every newspaper here delighted, surprised or moved us. Newspapers We Loved This Month 💛 Every month, we print hundreds of fun, inventive, well-designed newspapers and put together a roundup of our favourites. This time: detail-oriented objects curated for the Biennale Interieur, a calendar made for colouring in, public art posters and more.
Newspaper Club October edition
The curation was reminiscent of a child’s eagerness to show off their collection of knick-knacks: different coloured rocks and shells from beach trips, assorted buttons and broken beads, the shoe from an old doll, a toy car. Each, of course, with a long origin story and a fantasy world in which it is now is a fixture. This is a presentation that says, “Look at these things and you’ll get to know me.” […] These aren’t objects to admire, untouched since they were unwrapped, these are objects we can attach to. For this is part of the joy of design – when it truly becomes ours.

«During her career as a stylist and journalist Connie Hüsser has been fascinated by young talent, special forms and striking pieces. Her work for the furniture brand Vitra and the magazine Annabelle brings her in touch with designers from all over the world on a daily basis. When design becomes too special for many, her passion only just begins. At the request of the Biennale Interieur, this Swiss carefully selected 45 objects that are different. Objects made with an eye for detail. Objects with Love.»

«Feuer, Funken, Explosionen.
