dan and amy were so endgame to me until the last season
they’re both so evil and annoying and cold, they were made for each other
and then dan slept with amy’s sister, and the writers fucked up their dynamic and it lost all the excitement and affectionate toxicity from the first few seasons and replaced it with whatever the fuck season 7 was
ok but one thing i love about barney and robin is that throughout the show they constantly laugh at each others jokes - which seems obvious, the gang all find each other funny, and they all laugh at each others jokes and things they say, but theres been so many time when either robin or barney will make a comment thats not the focus of the group, usually one tacked on to the end of a conversation, and the other laughs. just quietly. and theyre the only one; the others did not seem to notice the comment.
its cute as hell, especially since half the time it seems like its not a 'planned' or 'scripted' laugh, like cobie or neil found it genuinley funny. and i love that.
everyone else including Taylor is just in sweats and Florence shows up to the rehearsal barefoot wearing the ankle-length sheer nightgown she borrowed from the ghost of a woman who died in an influenza field hospital in 1918

Hamilton and Burr's whole motifs are related with time
"Why do you write like you're running out of time"

So I represented both as different time devices
Hamilton is a stopwatch, because y'know the whole running out of time thing. It's always used for a deadline or a plan, so it can give off a feeling of ambition or determination. While also giving off a vibe of urgency and pressure.
Burr is an hourglass. Patient and slow. But it builds up over time. It's also very delicate. One drop and the whole glass shatters, needing to be rebuilt. This can be interpreted as Burr's strategy whenever he fails, he stops and rethinks his entire plan and rebuilds a new goal.
Additionally, hourglasses are asymmetrical. Lin explained once that he wrote Burr to be asymmetrical. And an hourglass never always has the same grains of sand on each side (at least not often). So yeah bonus points there :D

I haven't decided on a time device for her just yet but so far I'd probably choose a grandfather clock. Stable, welcoming/homey, and from my research it can last very long. And she lived the longest.
