(I thought i took pictures as i painted but iw as wrong so have this sketch from my brainstorm sesh!)
Heres the sketchy sketch i made when i started making @tubmax their gift, he mentioned sneeg, and empires s1 as well as listing characters from other smp’s so i started with origins sneeg, and i was so i love with him and his lil wings and the antenna!!! But i wanted to keep an open mind to i took a look at the s1 empires skins and decided to sketch out lizzie (lizzie was also one of the empures i watched for e1, thiugh not all of s1, i think finals season is what took me out?? Idk i didn’t finish but i loved watching what i did watch) i love lizzie so much her cute buns and braids around her face the fins!!! AND SHE WAS GILLS AS HER BLUSHIES!!!!!, but i was a bit worried about the pink hues in the hair because while i do have lots (lots) of pink stationary i dont have any good pink watercolour, i have red but i wanted a bubblegum colour for her hair and i knew that was going to be impossible for me with the paints i have currently. I will definitely make her at some point but that’l be a sometime soon project. Then i looked at the list bin made for dsmp and choose foolish to sketch out (i was feeling coloured skin was a must for this project) and i just, i think hes cute but he felt like he was missing something and at this point every time i tried to start a fourth sketch i was just thinking “its not gonna be better then sneeg” so i settled on sneeg!! And i love how he turned out. You cant see it very well in the photo but hes filled with layers of watercolour, pencil crayon, marker, hi lighter, fountain pen, glitter gel pen! It filled me with so much joy and i hope it bring you joy as well!

Me gritting my teeth and clutching a pencil: everyone making amazing art on tumblr also had to go through a phase of making terrible art that was objectively crappy and didn’t live up to their expectations. It’s just that they did it when they were 13 and I’m doing it when I’m 25. My beginner art is just as good as anyone else’s beginner art
this but i did a fun lil depressy break in hs so now im back at beginner art for a second time :/

I think we artists should be allowed to not draw arms when theyre not being used
What do arms do when we're not using them?? Nothing. And we still have to draw them?? Well I dont want to. I will draw people without arms until they use them

He's not holding and/or doing anything with his arms, so he has no arms
But watch out!!!!

And how is he holding it? His arms
But while Larry isn't using them, he has no arms
And Larry is happy, Larry is free
And also Larry is easier to draw because arms and hands are a pain to draw

bla bla bla "op just remade homestuck" etc etc. I REFUSE to draw hands or feet/shoes so i have started to just make all my block people drawings have square 'blocky' hands and feet. thats a minecraft block man, they are gonna be blocky.
