Welcome to This Wild Watcher! My name is Kaimera (Kai) and I have been a watcher of all things wild and animal for most of my life. Wild Watcher was something my husband called me one morning while I was doing just that, watching the wild. In the past 15 years I have have had a study focus on animals and wildlife, their care, their health, their healing, their conservation, etc. I have volunteered and worked with animals (wild & domestic) and wildlife as a trainer, a caretaker, and a literal wildlife watcher. My path in life has been scattered but what has remained constant is my love for animals and nature. In addition to this, I have always been a spiritual/magical soul. I am one that is many, a chimera in both name and being. So, as I continue my path as a Wild Watcher (and all it encompasses) I have decided to share my passion, life, thoughts, and adventures here with you all. Welcome to my WILD adventure!

I had a female praying mantis visit my house last week and since then, I have had a different animal messenger each day, each of them bringing me messages about the path that I have recently started. This was my first encounter with a wild praying mantis and the lessons she brought were priceless. Since then, my goals have manifested, my confidence has soared, and all is right in life.

Be Still, Breathe. This is the lesson of the Praying Mantis.

The Praying Mantis is a creature of stillness. They represent the calm and the patient. They also represent good luck in many cultures. If you are lucky enough to be visited by a Praying Mantis, take some time to reflect on your life and make time to be still.
