Concentration increase - Braintraining #5
What would work better for a study place?
A organized, good looking desk like this:
Or a extremely messy desk like this:
Well, I think everybody knows which desk will help you to stay concentrated and focussed on what you are doing. When your working at an organized desk like above, you will absorb the information at least 12% faster than when you are working on a messy desk like the second picture.
Why? There is a clear explanation for why you will work faster on a nicely organized desk. When a desk is full of books, loose papers, magazines and other objects, your mind consciously or unconsciously perceives information from the objects on your bureau, this makes you work less efficient and 12% slower. Therefore, if you want to learn as efficient as possible, CLEAN YOUR DESK!
There are more solutions for bad concentration while studying. If you want it to be easier to get very concentrated, try this:
Take an object in your room, a coffee cup for example. Set a timer for 60 seconds and say every feature of this object out loud. Every time you think of something different then one of the coffee cups characteristics, jot a stripe on a piece of paper. The more often you do this, the less stripes you will write down and concentrating will become much easier.
Another method to upgrade your ability to concentrate is the 'countdown' method, count down from 50 to 1 and every time you think of something different than the number write down a line on a piece of paper. The more frequent you do this, the less stripes will be written down and concentrating will be easy.
(The last method is also good to do when you count down in steps of 3, this will make it a little harder!!)
Try and apply.
