20th CENTURY BOYS - Anime Tribute
As a huge fan of Naoki Urasawa's work, 20th Century Boys is my favorite manga and I wanted to do an animated tribute of it.
The music is also written and composed by Naoki Urasawa, it's the intro of the Kenji song named "Bob Lennon"
Huge thanks to my brother for helping me by animating 2 shots, they turned out to be my favorite shots in the video.
If you didn't knew about this manga yet, I hope this will make you want to read it!

"Love Is The Most Twisted Curse Of All."
"All I had to do was drive home, have a taco, plan my attack. Instead I tried to act human, like it's my job to save lives."
- Dexter
"I like to pretend I'm alone. Completely alone. Maybe post-apocalypse or plague... Whatever. No-one left to act normal for. No need to hide who I really am. It would be...freeing."

Matt โThe Immortalโ Brown calls it a career. Man has one of the craziest come back stories in MMA history. Almost dying of an overdose. People wanted him booted in his early UFC career as he struggled to win fights. There were fans actually calling him the worst fighter on the roster at one point.
He got it together and managed to fight himself to a title eliminator with Robbie Lawler. One of the most all action, all violence fighters MMA has had. I hope retirement goes well for him.
This is the fight you need to watch if you're new and haven't seen a Matt Brown fight before. Him against uber prospect Erick Silva.
Context: After a shaky start to his UFC career where he went 5-5 with 4 submission losses, Matt Brown had found his stride. Entering this fight with Silva, Brown had rattled off 6 straight wins with 5 of them coming by (T)KO. He was beating the breaks off prospects like Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson and Jordan Mein, as well as vets like Mike Swick and Mike Pyle.
Erick Silva was a super prospect, hyped up to the moon as the next Anderson Silva. This was in part because of his connection as a training partner to Anderson Silva, Feijao, and Jacare, but also because he was destroying guys. He was murking guys left and right. He had faced off with Jon Fitch, who was still a top 5 fighter, and took him to the absolute limit. Silva had lost to Dong Hyun Kim via KO as Stun Gun just spammied offense at him til he folded. Hopes were still high that Silva was going to be an elite welterweight one day, though.
So we got this fight booked as the main event of UFC Fight Night 40 in 2014. And it was one of the best fights of 2014.
This fight was the one that propelled Brown into a title eliminator with Robbie Lawler (another great fight).
Maturity is not seeking revenge. It's healing and moving on, so you donโt become like the people who traumatized you.
