Good.
Reason number Infinity why I hate all of them. Look at their faces. They know. They know what they’re doing it wrong. It’s treason, it’s oathbreaking. They knew. And they still did it. Which I guess, shouldn’t be all that surprising since they just committed treason against Odin.
Loki has been Regent King for not even 24 hours yet. Regent King, as in, temporary replacement until Thor comes back on his own or Odin wakes from the Sleep. At this point in the story, Loki hasn’t even done anything yet. Not that they know. All they have is suspicions and are upset because their little playmate got himself banished doing stupid shit like starting a war because he got called a princess! Don’t tell me how Loki coerced him into it, because last I checked, Thor didn’t have to go! That was all him! He could have left it alone. The Destroyer had killed the invading Jötun. Thor made the decision to go to Jotunheim all by himself.
Thor absolutely deserved to be sent to Midgard to learn a lesson. He was arrogant, cruel, dismissive, and willing to go to war for the most asinine reason. The Idiots Four are just the Yes Men Three and Two Faced Sif. All they do is say yes to Thor even if Thor is acting like a spoiled fool. All they want is the prestige of being good friends of the crown prince without actually being good friends to the crown prince. You don’t go to war and commit treason against your home simply because your friend said to. It’s like they have no brain cells between them because Sif carries their balls and brains in her purse. She’s the ringleader and speaks for them, so…
Loki was in the right in keeping Thor on earth and he was right in that his first act as king couldn’t be to undo Odin’s last decree. What type of message would that send to the rest of Asgard? Not a good one I think. It would not only make Loki look weak for giving into them, it would send the message that he was a pushover. Do you think the other realms or even the politicians of his own home wouldn’t have scented blood in the water if that had happened? And, if I may say so, if Loki had been in his right mind, he would have seen the betrayal coming and taken appropriate steps. And let’s not forget Heimdall’s regicide attempt almost directly after it. Yes, Loki was “villain coded” in the movie, and everything he does is because he’s somehow “evil”. 🙄🙄 But the only thing Loki has done is deny the idiots four to go to thor and bring him back. As Regent King, he had every right to issue such a decree. But because the idiots four are so arrogant in their righteousness they believe they can ignore the law with impunity. Such was Heimdall’s righteousness is believing ill of Loki that he tried to kill his rightful king. And the worst part is that no one answered for that bullshit. Nothing happened to them and that makes me hate them. Because if Loki had been the idiots four or Heimdall and did these things? Do you honestly believe that Odin would have let him get away with a slap on the wrist? If so, then you didn’t watch the beginning of Dark World. If Frigga hadn’t stepped in, Odin would have executed Loki for the same crimes Thor did! Loki didn’t receive a banishment and a way to earn his powers back. He received a life sentence in solitary confinement! And don’t give me that crap that Loki was unrepentant about what he did. Thor wasn’t either after Odin rescued them from Jotunheim. And yet Odin gave Thor a way home and a way to restore himself to a place of honor. Loki didn’t get any of that.
Sorry for the rant but Thor MCU canon really pisses me off.
Look, I'm not even going to pin point the horrendous media illiteracy that you've just displayed because seeing a marvel movie that came out in 2011 still kick your ass is mildly amusing but you really could have made your own post to say all that instead of reblogging this and choosing to have a meltdown.
how fare the stars? still shining.
