have you seen the post going around about the discord plugin infiltrating your servers and training itself on your artwork and images?
i think it is false. corporations can lie, certainly, but in their post announcing the plugin they do quite clearly announce several times they do not do this!
i personally do think this is a strange thing to do if its a lie, since itd be easily provable they have announced very publicly they are not doing this.
disinformation spreads really fast online, and while the impulse to look out for one another is a great one it did make me think of this video. even in nature, mimicking those you put trust in is a very effective means of misdirection
i bring this up because the original "source", a post on bluesky, appears to have since been deleted.
biggest mindfuck is the fact that it can be so so difficult to tell the difference between when it's time for "do it bored/scared/stupid but by jove just do it" and when it's time for "if it sucks hit the bricks"

This is urgent. An investigation into vote tampering is required. Significant numbers of voters have had their ballots discarded for invalid reasoning. 32 fake bomb threats were called into democratic leading polling sites, forcing polls at these locations to be closed for at least an hour. All of these problems occurred in swing states, where they would most heavily impact the election results. This is far too targeted to be declared coincidental. The signs of unlawful political manipulation are unavoidable. It is imperative that this election be investigated for fraud.

Hello! I'm posting this video to draw your attention to the fundraising efforts of @mosabeldali. Mosab is a journalist who is currently displaced in Gaza, as you can see from the video.
His phone was stolen recently, and he needs to raise the funds to buy a new one so he can continue to document what is happening in Gaza, which we know is incredibly important work.

it makes me so fucking angry. Why do palestinians trying to escape genocide have to ask how you are. Why do they have to apologize for sending asks. Why must every message stast with saying they wish the reader well, they they hope you're doing okay, that they're so sorry to bother you. Do these people have to act nice and sweet for anyone to care? Do they have to make sure you're doing well before they have the right to ask for anything? Its horrific.
