Tony’s eyebrows pulled together before climbing higher and higher up his forehead in an effort to disappear into his hairline. His breath burst out in a noise of surprise. “Thor, listen, I know I bluster on about being a genius— and yeah I did figure out time travel. But— I am not comfortable enough with my knowledge to call myself the authority on time travel.” It was hardly comforting, but it was true.

“But here is the thing that’s different about the two situations. You, Steve, Banner and the Ant left that time. You didn’t stay there for a whole life time, like Steve did later,” Thor points out before he sighs and steps back and paces for a moment.
“But....are you--no... we saying there’s a chance in this...other timeline that my brother lived? That he is okay?” Thor asked, a spark of hope in his eyes again, and it could be heard too. He just wanted his brother to be alive. Was that really too much for the Thunderer to hope for?
