this is just a quick tutorial on how to use mc command center’s copy/paste setting, which is extremely useful when you’re playing the game and want to use a cool makeover of an eaxis townie you saw on the gallery/tumblr, but you don’t want that sim your replacing in game to lose their relationship progresses, skills, etc. well, this handy tool allows you to just change their looks and without having to load into create-a-sim!

Instead of capitalizing off Black History Month, how about we have a month of Black Content not being behind a Paywall. Show the black simmers y’all care about us outside of our wallets, because we do support y’all all year round because most of the time that’s the only way to get access to the content without waiting months. Just a thought.

Black content is free 365 24/7. Niggas really out here wanting free labor, wooo the audacity, baybeee. Creators are out here being students, workers, wives, mothers, girlfriends, dealing with illnesses (physical and mental) and still find the time to sit behind a computer screen and make content for the sims community because the multimillion dollar company that makes the game sucks at diversity. I don't know of one Black content creator that doesn't have free content out here and if they charge, their content is released to the public after a limited time. Don't you dare prepare your fingers to type and suggest free labor to me ever again. I'm thankful for everyone who uses my content but are the reblogs and likes matching the amount of downloads? Hell nah. Everything I make, I make for myself and choose to release publicly just because sometimes I feel generous so I honestly do not care about the likes, reblog, etc. However, if we gon speak on SUPPORT, let's make sure it's actual support and not you "shopping" for what you want, getting it & dipping.

No one said free labor, aka not having a patreon in general and never getting any compensation for their work. It was a simple suggestion because Black History Month shouldn’t be about asking for extra money from black people that already pay you. If it’s about celebrating blackness in the sims community idk why you’re so mad at the thought of just putting a couple things that would usually go straight to patreon out for free. I make poses for myself and I’ve learned meshing, all as a college student. I know it’s a lot of work. That was never the point. The point was why capitalize off a month made to celebrate blackness. It’s in poor taste considering we DO support black creators ( with paywalls) year round because most ( of the popular or well known) creators have a paywall . If no one was actually making money paywalls wouldn’t be popular, so let’s not pretend anyone here doesn’t get compensation. It was suggesting a gesture. Just like donating is a good gesture too because those people are actually doing free labor year round. If it isn’t clear I was addressing the “go pledge” part of your original post because like I said, it’s in bad taste to use Black History as an excuse to finesse a couple more patreons.

If you do support as much as you claim , why are you acting like my post was directed at you? Why not just tag the creators you support so much to bring awareness to them so they can gain more followers? Paying for goods is not the same as supporting someone financially as a thank you. I don't shop at Walmart because I support them, I shop there because them niggas had a deal that weekend but next weekend you may catch me at Food Lion. I support my streamer friends. I support my patreon friends. And not always financially cause a nigga be broke but I will always share their content to get their name out there. I have plenty of supportive followers who don't have the money to donate to me as a thank you but they check-up on me, they send me cc posts I may have missed, they have patience with me when they could've spazzed out on me for running behind. To me, it sounds like you're mad that some content you want is out of your budget. If you broke, baby, just say that. I don't know who finessed you but take it up with them not me, because I tag folks around here, I don't do subliminals. If it ain't directed, it ain't respected.

Idk if you’ve ever been a patreon to a lot of people but let me put you on game rq. Most of the time if you pledge for one month only ( black history month in this case ) and delete it the next month you’ll look sketchy on their end when they’re checking their overview and you’ll get blocked. So the cap like it’s just a lil something once it’s false. It’s advertising using black history month. I’ve been patreon to plenty of people for the maybe 2 years that’s it’s been popular. Idk which are actually black aside from Savagesims, HMB, and Ebonix. But at this point you clearly don’t have any real argument to back up what you’re trying to say because now you’re randomly coming for my pockets when I don’t really care to come at yours and now you’re talking about ways to support that don’t involve money, all while saying you’re broke sometimes and acting like me replying directly to your post doesn’t show up in the same area me tagging you would have. It’s okay to not walk away from every argument feeling like a winner 😂 enjoy the rest of black history month 🤝

I've pledged on Patreon & even had one myself, I'm plenty hip. Patreon was 1 out of the 7 options I've listed. Why you're so stuck on it , idk. Must be because you "support" just to get access to content. I advertise supporting content creators all year, I specifically said Black creators for this month because it's Black History Month. So i don't know what to do, i don't know what to tell ya. This was never an argument because all i said was financially support black content creators that you love and you got worked up. when i'm broke, i sell poses. i've asked for donations from followers before to pay for groceries and a therapist appointment. i ain't embarrassed to say i need financial help. that's why i said if you're broke, just say that cause we all been there. i also tell my followers don't feel the need to donate to me if you ain't got it because i'll figure something out & i always do. & that includes when it comes to accessing content behind a paywall for free. if you wanna feel like a winner so be it. i'm black a woman 24/7 365 with true supporters irl & online so i feel like i win everyday that i wake up ☺️ enjoy the rest of your day, your month, & your life, beloved.
