This is a hot take blog.

If you don't like what I have to say? Move on. If you want to debate me, you can try but I don't reply quick. This was made cause I'm tired of keeping all my thoughts to myself, and I felt as though I was stuck in a feedback loop with some of my friends.

Aside from that.

My asks will be open, but again, I do not reply fast.

I'm still learning what tags to put on this blog. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to offer suggestions.

Rules, I Guess?

1. I block freely and, if you keep bothering me about one hot take or thing I said, I will block you. I will block you if you decide to stalk my blog, just to get upset at the things I say. That's dumb, and you should get a life.

2. Do not ask what skin tone I am, or my orientation. Do not ask if I am disordered, have conditions, or am otherwise neurodivergent/typical or dis/abled. I am everything, and I am nothing. I will talk about a lot of things.

3. None of these things will be worded well. I am not expecting for any of this to blow up enough for that to matter but still. For the record this is just my thoughts put into words and English is not my friend.

So ima try and keep this short but im pretty sure that most of yall (mostly tiktok ig im honest) are more racist than you wanna claim to be. Like yall are so anti racism that you are super racist.

I say this as a person who feels like they have just been witnessing the world from an outside lens.

Take the whole jax voice actor and friends nega thing, right? People who claimed to be anti racist or liberal or woke in some way where calling literally any black person who was speaking out saying that it was a joke and that they didnt even say the word, a coon. I say so many people call multiple black people racoon or they would send racoon images or hell some were as far as saying if you thought this way you were just a white person in disguise. Which... is super racist btw.

I want it known that it wasnt just white people doing this either. It was every color person under the sun. Black, white, green purple. It didnt matter.

The other one i saw was more black people but it still applies. Its the whole thing with that black kid who died to an asian man cause he thought the kid stole from him. I dont know very much cause i have been trying to take a politics detox but i have seen what i wanna talk about with my own eyes.

I have seen so many anti racism people call asian people slurs and say horrible things about "how they knew all asians were racist" or dumb shit like that. Thats still racism...yall know that right? Like please tell me you know that and you are just an asshole cause honestly thats more morally correct then claiming its justified just cause this person is asian and that it was there kind who killed him.

Cause yall do realize thats kinda how 911 happened, right? A set of people who just so happened to be apparently of a certain ethnicity group (i believe thats the right word here) did something horrible and after the whole ethnic group was bad and horrible and needed to die.

Tese are the only two instances i have the energy to type out but there has been so many more over the course of like two years max, i could probably write a novel.

Yall wanna know what i think it is thats causing this btw? I think its a lack of change in a way.

Yall want so much change yet are so unwilling to die like the martyr you wanna be that you go haywire and start attacking people who arent even the ones we should be attacking. Cause tell me how attacking this random black person with slurs cause they said this genuine barely worthy of newspapers thing is barely worthy of newspapers. Cause tell me how you are gonna attack a full race of people for one mans actions rather than the literal judge and jury who let him off scot free?

But who knows maybe im just not woke enough to see how shooting fire at a burning building is gonna put it out.

The hate on hazbin is so dumb. I dont care if you hate it. I dont care if you like it. I just think all the reasons people hate it is dumb.

The main one i see if the zoo allegations. Which as a person who has seen the image. Yall are making a mountain out of a molehill. Its a child making soft core porn with another child friend. This happens a lot and almost everyone did it back when she drew this. No one cared. You only care cause you think you are a pure soul. You only care cause it makes you morally superior and comfortable.

The other one i hear a lot is that its poor rep for a bunch of communities.

.....not everything need representation. Not everything has to be GOOD representation and if im honest not everything is fetishization just cause its not good representation.

I get it. I would love everything to be perfect. God could i dream for a perfect world but guys. This world isnt perfect and there is too many people represent. We will never have a perfect show. Yall are breaking down the very few indie artist that care about their projects enough to try and make content for us. Give in and just accept that not everything is built for you and you can dislike a show without finding 500000000000 reasons to hate the creator.

I know damn well theres more reasons yall hate her but god leave them alone.

I think system aid creators shouldn't be harassed.

With Simply Plural shutting down, everyone is scrambling for an alternative.

Simply Plural? The creator is selfish.

Octocon? The creators are problematic pedophile supporters, and also they hate endos.

Ampersand? The stress is getting to them, and they're "ableist against polyfrag systems."

System Connect? It's a replit site, and AI is bad.

Let's start with this: Harassment solves nothing.

Do I think the Simply Plural situation is shady? Do I think the creator is being selfish and unreliable about the source code? Do I think the creator should just hand over the project, rather than delete it entirely? Do I think it's all a money grab?

Sure.

Am I harassing Amaryllis about it? No.

Do I think you should Support Octocon? No, BUT I understand it's the best alternative at the moment for many systems.

Ampersand may shut down due to high influx, unwarranted allegations, and stress. A small HOBBY has now become a desperate scramble to improve or die trying. The creators made a small, offline application not meant for large systems, especially not large systems that were imported all at once. It's crashing, not because they "didn't account for polyfragmented systems," and are ableist, but because it was never meant to make it off the ground.

System Connect is a website created to track systems, and use its extensive UI to make the most inclusive system site experience they could. Likely by a system not too different from the rest, that wanted bits from all their apps in one place, and didn't know how to code, or have the money or time to hire or learn.

And dozens of other apps, sites, and other alternatives systems are scrambling to may not last forever.

So sure, run to Microsoft word, which was all but obliterated by Google Docs. Run to Google Docs, which uses and constantly implements AI that you can't get rid of. Run to Discord bots, which are receiving such high numbers now, they may collapse from the pressure as well.

If you spend all of your time running, and trampling the imperfect, you'll never be able to breathe.

I'm like pretty sure that saying something is 'lolibait' or 'minor coded' is ableist. Hear me out.

The only time I hear these terms used are when it comes to grown ass adults who look a little young or dress a certain way.

Skips? I think was his name. The dude from date everything. Him. He was considered 'minor coded' just cause he dresses like an early 2000s emo teen. Timmy and Timothy where also said to be minor coded because they freak out over little this such as being on time.

These things are things that grown adult do all the time but just because it was in a dating game, it was 'minor coded', immature, and child-like.

Lolibait is a word I see used correctly more often. Even then it's more often than not used on adults that dress in Lolita fashion. Real people. Hell, sometimes I've seen it used on people who are just shorter than the average person, or people that look younger than they are (such as someone that's ~20 but looks 16 either due to the way they dress, do their makeup, or just natural genetics).

The thing is. If a shorter/younger looking person is lolibait... what does that say about shorter people, or people with dwarfism?

People claimed that La Brava (MHA) was a child and/or a lolibait character. She's an adult woman with dwarfism. She doesn't even act like a child, yet she is considered lolibait.

Personally, I think it's ableist, and just out right wrong to say that someone or something is 'minor coded' or 'lolibait' just because of the way they interact with the world. Whether that be how they dress, or how tall they are, or even if they age regress or are into age play.

RANDOM HOTTAKE OF MY BRAIN TODAY: teens should be allowed to explore what they are into as long as they are SAFE about it. if this means drawing NSFW stuff than so be it. i hate when people treat teens as if they cant be in CERTAIN sexual spaces cause they are just "little babies whos brains havent developed" i get it can be uncomfortable but people treat teens like they should know all their kinks and stuff the moment they turn 18 but wont allow them to wonder and create art for what they are into/think they are into. this is coming from a person who was treated like this and found not safe ways to see things and draw things i shouldnt have when i was like 13.
