Had another one. The customers always right. NO YOU ARE NOT.
Your telling me that if a customers tells me that a pint of larger is £1 that they can argue that they are right. No your not. If your drink doesn’t look or taste right because you’ve left it sitting on your table for 30 minutes and the ice has melted then that’s on you. Don’t accuse the bar staff of not putting something in your drink when it’s one of the main ingredients and makes up 3/4 of your drink. We tried to explain the more ice you have in your drink the cold it stays and the ice melts slower. But you didn’t listen and wanted less ice so we were nice enough to remake your drink in front of you. And that should of been the end of it. But no your other half had to pipe up with have you never heard of the customers always right. And then proceed to tell us that we’re in the wrong job if we didn’t know that.
But you know what, the only people that tell us the customer’s always right is the customer’s themselves. Because they don’t want to be proven wrong. We’re a company at the end of the day that has rules and regulations. These are the things that the bar staff are going to know inside and out, so no when you think that you’re right you’re not i’m afraid.
Stop staying the customer’s alway’s right. It just proves your a dick to the staff and need to justify yourself. Andy we’re likely to bitch about you non stop.
