Just a little distraction from my client project! Here's Frankie!
My character made it on to the school best of reel! Check it out :) I still want to go back over her and get a more professional looking render with some less sleazy animations haha Oh well!
So... I tried to make alpha plane hair and it was really nasty looking so I figured this would be fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine, right? Mehhhh... Still gotta finish up texturing, make some blendshapes, paint weights, set up some SDKs and a render scene... and render.. by this time tomorrow... gahhhh
YAY! TEXTURING IS THE FUNNEST! Here's my progress so far with this chicky. Hopefully, I'll have some hair for her by the end of the night... Maybe. All textures have been handpainted in Mudbox and modelling was done in Maya by me!
This is where my Goldilocks got up to.. Will be texturing her over the next couple of days and getting some renders ready for submission on Tuesday! Hopefully, figure out some hair stuffs too if I'm lucky :) Otherwise, she will be bald. Yup.

This dude is the product of mucking around in Mudbox this arvo! I think he is going to be a little bit of a hipster beast man... Having fun with all the hairs! I've probably spent 2 and a half hours on him collectively which isn't great but I'm still learning and I did spend at least an hour of it with no mirror effects. It takes longer, but.. I like the outcome a whole heap better. Sooo much hate for his lips though ha! I plan on finishing him up tomorrow so watch this space! :)
