It’s been six years since I started my first Disney College Program. It’s so wild to think about how much life has changed in the last six years. And how drastic it all is.

Also, it’s Friday the 13th. Whoot whoot!

>> I’m thankful for albums like Serenade Vol. 3; I miss the “peenay” days. That were filled with shows, singing, bright colors, high school, import cars, AOL and cute guys in visors with spiky hair.

>> I’m thankful for Spotify for being a host to all these songs that remind me of my teenhood that I’m able to store and relive through.

>> I’m thankful for social media for allowing me a place to express myself as often or as little as I want. Somewhere that acts like a timeline of my life through pictures. I’ve always loved taking pictures of anything and everything of my life, even before social media was a thing. People hate on social media and instagram all the time and I feel bad that they haven’t experienced a platform that allowed them to be who they were when everyone around them told them they were wrong.

Damn, seven days in and I’m already slackin!

I’m thankful for my boyfriend --- I know he means well and is always just trying to look out and protect me and my crazy mind sometimes can’t understand it or accept it. Though it has nothing to do with him and all to do with me and my past hurts. I know I always tell people that they shouldn’t blame others from the past for the things their current interest hasn’t even done yet... yet I’m just as guilty of doing the same. But I am incredibly thankful for his understanding and patience and all the love the continues to drown me in every single day.

I’m thankful for MMO’s. It’s hard to make friends as an adult and to “meet new people”. MMO’s make that a little easier. Well, a lot easier. As easy as walking up to a random person and emoting at them until they start a conversation with you. The downside? Realizing that half these people are across the country from you.

I’m thankful for people who keep their word. Despite all the mess behind us I’m thankful that one thing has remained --- we just want to make sure the other person is okay. I’m thankful that even though I was the most psycho bitch to this person he still will message me asking how my day was or if I’m good. I know he worried the most when he was in another country and leaving me in the hands of someone he didn’t trust. We both had to grow up at some point and let go of the other person no matter how much we didn’t want to. Sometimes life does that --- forces you to let go and go into the world alone because time is up. But you know me, I’m always happy.

Hello 2017!

Audrey had tagged me in this on Facebook and I thought it would be a cool way to kick off 2017. There are some things on here I won’t be able to do, telling you right off the bat now but for the most part I’ll try to keep up with it. Along with all the other things I *hope* to keep up with in 2017.

Decided to bring this blog back since Day 1 says to create a gratitude journal which is what this blog was meant for to begin with. 

So... yeah.

Should I do the usual and list off three things or should I just talk? I’m trying not to restrict myself on blogs so much anymore so I guess whatever I feel like doing for that day.

Day 1 • 21 Happy Leap Year! So far I'm taking 4 chances and it still doesn't feel enough!

Day 1/21 Yes, we're starting over... again. I missed too many days. Been sick from med withdrawal and that was NOT fun. Finally starting to feel more human today. • I'm thankful for phone calls from my mama • I'm thankful for my meds even though without them I would hurt • I'm thankful for music that sings to my soul I remember the last time I had this track on HEAVY REPEAT was during my first really big break up and I played it out so fast but I literally felt these lyrics, like I do now... if this isn't my happy ending then what is? But that break up taught me SO MUCH about myself, about the difference between being strong and weak, about how to respect myself, and that as much as it sucks some people don't belong in your life and that's okay. You will be okay. Yes it will suck and the hurt might consume you into some deep dark place but you always have a choice and you know what? There is someone out there who will love you in a way you would never imagine. There is someone out there who is WAITING for you and as hard as it is to believe, there is someone who isn't M that's out there waiting to love you and be there for you and PROTECT you and take care of you in ways you wouldn't expect. So slow down darling, it might hurt now but the best is yet to come.

Day 7/21

FINALLY got my hair done, this time with more purple and an ombré kinda thing. I’m digging it. Wish my hair wasn’t naturally dark so the roots wouldn’t look so awkward.

• I’m thankful for the friends I have made in Orlando that are seriously making it hard to leave

• I’m thankful that at the end of the day, I really am one lucky girl.

Day 6/21 Goodness I somehow forgot the access to this account! I seriously need to get my shit together. It's MLK DAY! I grew up listening to his speech but I'm not gonna lie, I don't think I know it word for word. • I am thankful for inspirational people to look up to. That never gave up on their vision. • I'm thankful for the fact this is pretty much my last class at UoP (THANK GOODNESS) • I'm excited to retouch my hair tomorrow. Now I just have to pick a color!

Day 5/21

I feel like shit right now. My head is throbbing, my stomach hurts and I don't know WHAT is going on just that I want to take a hot shower and go to bed. Did a bit of homework but not as much as I'd like so I have to make up for it tomorrow. Which, is fine.

I'm thankful that I gave in and got the January Julep Mystery Box. I also got the January Birthstone polish as well. I think I might do this every month this year. It'll be fun. I'm really looking forward to that night mask. I should use it tonight!

I'm thankful for Google. 'Nuff said.

I'm thankful for the fact that I can talk my text messages. Though now that I've gotten that lazy, it might be a bad thing.

I snapped this with my Canon Rebel T5 using the main lens it came with. It came with another but I haven't even taken that out of the box. Truth is I don't know the difference between the two (maybe if I tested it out I would....) and I don't know how to disable the flash. It drives me nuts. Also I slightly regret not getting the T5i instead since when I film I can't see the view finder. I still need to find like a mirror sticker or something to put on my wall when I film. Shouldn't be too hard. But I'm having fun learning and playing with this camera I've been avoiding for so long!

Day 4/21

I know it's not really but you know what, fuck starting over lmfao. This is why I suck at project 365 you gotta have a plan for that shit! Post about yesterday first thing in the morning or somehow try to get your post in on that day before midnight. Usually doesn't happen for me lol.

I'm thankful for friends like Candace. Seriously, I was laughing out loud. I have friends that call going outside the "outernet" lol. I love it.

I'm also thankful for Dru though I think he had a whole post to himself already. I woulda died if he called me cute 15 years ago. Now I'm just like "aw thanks" lmfao.

I'm thankful for the early opp to get all my paper work done for Full Sail! I'm so so excited!!

Two or so more weeks at UoP and I'll be DONE with UoP forever. I've been there for five years guys. Seriously. It's getting old haha. And I'm not learning what I want to be learning, my program doesn't even exist anymore and their online system really annoys me. I love my advisors and I'm going to miss them so much!! Five years of talks and laughs and jokes and memories....! Thank you Janice for everything you've put up with (cause I know it was a lot haha)! And thank you June for your never ending excitement when I told you I got into the Disney CP program and all your help with making sure it would be smooth sailing as far as school went. And thank you Michelle for just everything. You guys are the best and I will miss you 3 so so much!

Day 3 right? Gah I don't remember. I know it’s a late post.

• Target. Seriously that place is color and cute everything heaven in the spring!

• That my mom calls every day even if it annoys me sometimes.

Today wasn’t good and wasn’t. Never mind towards the end it sorta sucked. But it started decent.

Truth is I don’t really know where to go from her and honestly this who situation is uncomfortable, awkward, confusing and painful.
