I don't know a lot about Subaru so I'm gonna go with Ozpin because the merging thing is a very disturbing concept when you think about it. However, Talion does not have it easy either because his host is Celebrimbor.

A voice made Marcus tense up as he quickly turned around to see a stunning woman behind her and sigh in relief quietly "fuck daliah..dont sneak up on me like that" he chuckle softly. Daliah giggle playfully as she kissed marcus on the cheek "why are you hiding in the bushes anyways?" She asked him gently, the brunette turn his head to see a five year old Marshall playing with a four year anthony "i dont want Marshall and his friend to see me covered in blood" he mummbled. Daliah look at him then at the younglings and softly said "ooh. ...I got this" she smile as she step out. Marcus tensed hiding deeper incase

"Alright kids time to go inside!" Daliah yelled "awww!!!" The two boys said in unison, she chuckle "now now you two. ...its lunch time sillies" "yay!" They yelled while she smiled then glanced at Marcus quietly letting him know to come out and run inside. Marcus nodded timed it till the three were inside quietly counting in his head then runs out and rush inside and run to the bathroom to shower. Meanwhile in the kitchen daliah made both mercury and anthony sandwiches "here you go you two" she put them down "exactly how you like it" she smile "awesome thanks mom!" Marshall smiled meanwhile anthony clap excitedly and began to chow down. She smile motherly before a stern look appear in her face walk out the kitchen to her and marcus room grab some clothes then exit walking to the bathroom and knock on the door "marcus honey its me..can I enter?" She asked softly "yeah go ahead babe!" He shouted through the shower. She enter inside closed and locked the door set the clean clothes down gets undressed then join him in the shower and hug "was the hit that bad?" She asked softly seeing the injuries. Marcus scoff "sorry angel..I dont wanna talk about it..." she frown "why don't you qui-" "you know why" he interrupted her "marcus look at yourself...your complexion is faded you're tired, you need to quit doing ozpins and salems hits...they're doing too much on you" marcus scoff "I cant... I have to do this job to keep you safe." Daliah frowned "honey im a big girl...I have my power to protect myself" this made the male growl turn around grip her chin " yeah and if those two bastards find out you're the summer maiden they will make you use that power against eachother or worse try to kill you just to get their dirty hands on that fucking relic and if they do i...I cant..." his eyes water and hug her sobbing "I dont know what id do if I lost you...you're my angel..my flower my..everything" he heeved into her shoulder. Daliah frown closed her eyes hugging him "I know honey...but dont forget about marshall too ok?...he needs his dad too not just me" she reminded him. Marcus sigh through his tears look at her and smile weakingly "I know..."

It's rule of thumb for mind control powers it doesn't matter how good your brainwashing is a stronger mind will overwrite your control with sheer force of will

And salem has the strongest will in this entire show if jax tries to control her she's just going to ignore his orders and probably chock him out for trying to brainwash her

That scenario is most likely gonna end with Salem beating Jax to a pulp while the rest of the bad guys watch it eating popcorn.

I don't have it anymore and i think i showed it to you but i wrote a scenario once where salem pretends jax could control her giving him false hope just to make a point and aura farm on everyone present

And it's pretty much what i think would happen in volume 10 jax immediately tries to control Salem thinking she would make the ultimate weapon and fails miserably because the actual planet would crumble to dust before salem willpower gives out she's to stubborn to be controlled

You know when talking about Mercury's potential Semblance (I think it was simply repressed, not stolen), people often go in a direction of super-speed (as part of his Hermes/Mercury allusion) or something else combat related.

Wouldn't it be funny if it was something supportive instead, like true healing, speeding up others, flight, etc. Give resident loner, fake tough guy a Semblance which relies on other people (which would also explain why he would never awaken it on his own). It would follow the trend of giving male characters more supportive abilities.

As fake a tough guy as he is at his core mercury is self serving especially at the beginning before he gained a person he actually cares about in emerald (which was after he lost his semblance)

Not to mention semblances tend to suit both the person and the the situation to certain extent

it doesn't make for him to have a support ability when there is no one to support

The only way i can see mercury having support powers is by having a power that is offensive in nature but could also be used in support of others

Before Ren evolved his semblance to see people emotions, I had the theory that Mercury's semblance was gonna be something like that and his father took it because it made him weak to be an assassin.

Seeing emotions would be useful as an assassin tho

Imagen if your trailing a target if you suddenly see their emotions change you can tell they spotted you it basically a danger sense that warns you when someone goes hostile
