Still In Love🌹

My first UMAMUSUME fanart! I am addicted to this stupid game and have been playing it for a WHILE. For clarification, I’m playing on global so Still In Love is not available for me yet. But love still finds a way!! I find her very interesting, especially compared to how her career stands out from the others. Cool effects. This is mostly a digital painting practice. I LOVE how warm she looks here, especially her skin. It has an oil paint feel to it which is EXACTLY what I’m working towards. Don’t look at the hair too much idgaf about it..

As the title suggests, this is still an initial sketch. I tried to play more into the dark, rotten sweetness of Eternal Sugar by making her look more twisted and high off her own paradise. I like her weird bendy neck. I honestly don’t follow much CRK lore but the ancients are interesting to draw and interpret.

It inspires me! The art, the lore, hell; especially the horror! Whenever I am out of ideas on what to draw, I ultimately resort to drawing characters/ sprites from the game. I love it.

Hello! This is what my account is named after. As the title entails, this is a fan AU of Revolutionary Girl Utena. Let’s just get this out of the way: this AU is in no way lore accurate, probably. I haven’t even finished watching the show, and this entire thing was sparked from me freaking out at episode 30.

This AU revolves around the “what if” scenario that paints Utena surrendering her princely identity out of false compassion for Akio, leaving Anthy completely shocked. Akio, so bewitched by Utena’s surrender, ultimately finds Anthy no longer amusing enough to be the Rose Bride. And thus, Anthy is no longer the Rose Bride, and is finally free. But something within her prevents her to move on, to leave this utter hell of a school. Utena. She can’t leave her prince behind, not after all Utena’s done for her. Utena made her feel something, feel human.

Anthy finds herself feeling a certain urge she’s never understood before now. Anthy wants a revolution. Anthy will be the revolution. And she will save Utena, no matter the cost.
