eli would hesitate to give anything up, honestly. he doesn’t care much for the idea of revenge, and finds it overall unreasonably petty for just a small moment of satisfaction

it all depends on how he presents himself. he tends to give off the vibes of someone friendly and understanding, yet at the same time professional. if you catch him in a hurry or when he’s particularly stressed, however, he can be very cold and quite scary. people’s initial perceptions of him all depend on this crucial factor. even if they don’t think he’s that big of a threat, he could still probably wipe the floor with them in a battle. gg wp.

🌟: Has your character met any Legendary Pokémon before? If so, what were the encounters like? Do they have any Legendary Pokémon on their team? If not, do they believe in Legendary Pokémon?

elijah has seen eternatus, and met the sword and shield. whilst he himself didn’t cause Darkest Day Two: Electric Boogaloo, it did still happen (which I will detail in a post soon aaaaaa) and did his best to fend off the beast rather than just Doing Nothing. as a result, he has gotten very up close and personal with some of galar’s legends. outside of that, I’d hesitate to call him a very religious man. his household loosely followed the legendary of [insert mexico region here I’m Working On It], he has since very much fallen out of practice, and has never seen the appeal to following arceus, either. goodness knows no god could ever forgive him for what he does.

for the love of all that is holy do not give him bugs, I have gone into great detail about why he should not be given bugs, they give him the heebie-jeebies, etc etc. on the flipside, he’s always felt drawn to psychic types and dark types. certainly an odd combo, but he doesn’t mind.

 This man was nice. Almost too nice. It was odd. If only there was a Pokemon around he could speak to… perhaps he would have better insight. N simply smiled and nodded, before taking the list.

Reading over the list, he didn’t see any of his on the list, unfortunately. When he finished reading, he looked up at Eli, “This is fantastic information, Mr. Chairman. I do have to wonder… can any of your Pokemon Gigantamax?” 

His smile doesn’t falter, though he knows suspicion when he sees it. A shame, really, that N seems to mistrust him. No matter, he tells himself, you can fix that. You always have.

“Oh-! Yes, as a matter of fact! My Malamar can, though it’s exceedingly rare for them to gain a Gigantamax form in the wild. I suppose I just got lucky, then.” A brief pause. “You aren’t off-put by Malamar, are you? I could let you meet her, if you please.”

‘Yup! S’pose! Gonna hafta like it or lump it!’ Peony laughed.

‘Not only are ya a fucker, but I’d say you’re the fucker. Fucker in Chief. King Fucker. The One Fucker to Rule ‘Em All.’

He then let out a little “ah!” of surprise when he was poked, Elijah hitting a ticklish spot.

He smirks deviously as Peony jolts. Perfect. He lunges forwards for some revenge after the headlock and noogie he endured, beginning to relentlessly tickle Peony.

N listened in absolute amazement as Elijah took to explaining the Dynamax Phenomenon, eyes near sparkling at the idea. So Pokemon got larger, and some even changed form? He wondered if any of his could… what did he call it… Gigantamax.

When the chairman proposed the idea that he was getting carried away, N near startled, “Yes, I follow!” he grinned wide, “It’s no worry at all, I tend to do the same thing myself. It’s very easy to do when you’re passionate about what you’re talking about.” 

“I do have to ask- you said the Gigantamax Factor is only found is 32 species, correct-? Which species-? I’m curious to know if any of mine could Gigantamax, given the chance.” He looked over at the Zoroark that had stayed at his side the whole time. Was it possible..?

Oh, thank god. “I’m glad to hear it! It’s lovely to meet a kindred spirit, in a sense.”

He pauses just briefly, mentally running through the list. “Ah, right! Give me just a moment to write all of them down, it’s better than me spitting out a novel at you—” He pulls a piece of paper from a small notepad on his desk, quickly jotting down a list for N. He passes it over the desk, giving a silent prayer that his handwriting is legible. “Here you are! I do hope that clears some things up.”
