//I know its mostly comic relief with Loz but can we talk about the fact that the Remnants are extremely emotional. Loz cries over anything, Kadaj is mostly angry but he sobs and screams as he cradles Jenova to his chest, Yazoo is more subdued but it isnt stoic, hes teasing and cruel and he’s still angry a lot as well. Pretty sure both Yazoo and Loz are also pretty fucked up when Kadaj dies

Expect…      Well, this wasn’t what he’d expected.           And although the breath filling his lungs burned, rattled and rasped, his teeth were bloody and bared.       “That’s a piss-poor chip you have there.” His lips spread, into something almost canine, eyes narrow and cold. “Who knows?”

     Tseng laughed, even through the agony of broken ribs. Closed his eyes. The mission came first, always. Elena knew that. Bargaining for her life… she would never let him. Of all his Turks, she would kill him herself before the mission was compromised. They knew what it meant to wear the suit.

     “You know—” A wretched cough—”The longer you spend here, the chances of you finding her dwindle…” Lashes lift. “Kill us. Because we aren’t telling you shit.”

“Don’t be like that. I don’t want to kill you... Now, I know what you are and I know you’ll be hard to break.” He knelt by Tseng’s side with a smile. “So even if I force you to listen to my brothers kill your friend... You won’t say a word. Isn’t that right?”

As if to emphasise his words, a gunshot rings out from deeper in the crater. Kadaj’s smile widens. 

“Truth be told, I didn’t tell them to kill her. Whatever they do is up to them... They’re still new, you see. We’re getting to know each other.”

"You seem to forget," Sephiroth allows the distance between them and does not engage. "Whatever is yours is also mine. You would have nothing without me."

“I forget nothing. I was you and now I am myself. What I have taken for myself since I awoke is not yours. I owe you nothing.”

Have you heard of the Keyblade Wielders? And if so what's your opinion on them?

He merely smiles when the remnant lashes out, however, Sephiroth does retract his hand. "Your anger is misplaced little one."

“That may be but it is mine and I will not give it up.” He growls, stepping away from Sephiroth. Fingers flex but he does not take up his sword.

Lightly pets and strokes the top of Kadaj's head.

“Don’t touch me!”
