@agamingcolliedog2 since you liked my Efram story so much I thought I’d share this. I know you see Shola and Jun as a couple, I see it too, Shola being sassy and funny and Jun being placid and humanitarian focused I also see Jun and Marie together because Marie would probably make Jun laugh at her catty remarks and Marie (as well as Shola) cares about Jun.

Marie and the others find Jun sitting on the bed in her room, sobbing

Edie: Jun, are you alright?

Jun: No, Edie, l'm not. she wipes her eyes Edie and Marie sit on Jun's bed next to her. Marie gives Jun a little cuddle

Marie: what's gotten you so upset, Jun?

Jun: Remember that I said that I like liked Josiah? He's not the only one in the resistance that I love. I would like to tell the other person this but I can't tell them without destroying the wonderful friendship we built. Jun sniffles and cries softly

Edie: it's okay, Jun, we're here for you.

Marie: Edie's right, Jun, we're all here. If you have something to say, sweetheart, don't bottle it all up. I'm your very best friend.

Jun: sighs I’m in love with you, Marie Chevalier.

Marie is silent as Jun's declaration of love sinks in. Edie and the other girls are equally silent as Marie

Marie: you really mean that, Jun?

Jun nods silently. Marie embraces Jun as she once again breaks down and cries.

Marie: Cherie Jun, why didn't you tell me?

Jun: if I told you my feelings I thought it would ruin our wonderful friendship. Marie dries Jun's eyes and cups her face with her hands

Marie: Jun.

Jun: Marie. 🥺

Marie: I've slowly falling in love with you too.

Jun and Marie kiss and then Jun snuggles into Marie’s embrace.

the other girls: Silently watching aww.

Shola: that's really cute.

Beth: yeah.

@agamingcolliedog2 I’m so glad it’s not just me!!

I love Edie and Werner together as a loving couple. I’m going to be honest here as someone on the autism spectrum I tend to neither look out for the finer details or completely overanalyse things for the sake of it! I do tend to pick up on subtle cues while playing Zombie Army 4 especially when playing as Werner, he makes the game interesting due to his dialogue such as Werner reminiscing about his time in the Wehrmacht before having his honour stripped from him. There also this whimsical “innocence” aside, he does have a good background as a German career soldier turned lovable rouge who desires redemption for killing an SS occult officer. Edie is the perfect fit for Werner personally as she’s smart and beautiful to Werner’s lovable, somewhat funny and adorable nature.

On the note of me over analysing everything I do see that there is a bond between Werner and Edie through the campaign. Werner shows signs of having a “crush” on Edie in some of his dialogue when addressing Edie. In the second chapter of the very first mission “Dead Ahead” Werner shows his gratitude for Edie’s aide by saying “vielen danke, libe Edie!” which, in my eyes leads me to believe Werner’s crushing on Edie. Later in the third chapter of the DLC mission “Damnation Valley” when seeing Edie alive, Werner lets out an excited “Aha!” In delight seeing her safe.

This is a little story I’d made up which I think is funny, because of Bruno getting the final word, and sweet, because of Edie being smitten by Werner straight away, as if Werner was a real person he’d be this lovable, approachable guy you’d want to spend time with. I often imagine Edie and Werner spending a lot of time together after missions or patrol and making fond memories together such as having some semblance of fun together during the dead war.

My personal headcanons for Josiah

He and Shola might be distant cousins as they don’t look too similar to each other.

Josiah’s probably an undiagnosed asthmatic like myself which possibly explains his slower stamina recovery speed. I would know as a diagnosed asthmatic having to deal with exhaustion quicker than others.

I think the reason Josiah has hydrophobia (the fear of water) as he had a near-death drowning experience and it’s gave him PTSD.

Josiah might have a crush on Jun, the placid Chinese beauty. I haven’t read the “Fortress of the Dead” book yet but I have heard that Josiah and Jun are very close as they have that dad and daughter bond (heard that through Reddit).

He possibly tolerates the other survivors constant teasing of him being “old” for the sake of banter.

Dr. Schweiger: It's all my fault, all this suffering! I deserve to die!

Rosie Petal (me): Arms outstretched in a "stop" motion which shocks Schweiger into stopping him using his unstable powers from offing himself NO! WAIT! Holding Schweiger's hand and drying his tearful eyes That's not true! You have friends that care about you so so much!

Schweiger: How do you know that?! 🥺🥺

Rosie Petal (Me): letting go of Schweiger's hand and putting them over my beating heart, closing my eyes and letting out a focused breath. I make direct eye contact with Schweiger. Because I can do something the Baron cannot! I can prove it to you!

Schweiger gazes longingly at Rosie as he continues to sob.

Rosie Petal (Me): Nature's gift! I conjure a magic rose pink gift box in front of the Doc and open it in front of his tearful face.

Karl: stammering how did Rosie-?! Glances at Marie

Marie: Mademoiselle Petal's power of jubilation allows her to show her intended target's greatest desire. It causes instantaneous happiness in her chosen target.

Doc Schweiger is moved by Rosie's act of incredible kindness and love, his panicked panting changed into stable, calm breathing and his eyes lit up as he saw his heart's deepest desire: a vision of himself being warmly loved, cuddled and praised by the entirety of the members of Alpha Squad and a familiar face of ms. Beth A, as he embraces them all with a great big smile on his happy tearful face

Rosie Petal (me): Schweiger, you were never responsible for what Hitler, his political party and what the cult did to you. Your dreams of praise have already come true! What you've done already means you are a hero!

Schweiger's scared, tearful expression changed from that to a happy smile with tears still streaming down his face, his vision Rosie showed to him reflected in his glasses

Schweiger: I-I understand now! Oh, you've brought the light to my eyes in my darkest moment! Thank you, mein Freund! 🥹

Karl stares at Marie with an "are you seeing this right now?!" look on his face and Marie had to take herself away to laugh out loud, but Baron Umbra was seething!

Umbra: I-IMPOSSIBLE!!! HOW DARE YOU!!!

Rosie Petal (Me): how dare I?! How dare you! Trust me, Umbra! It IS possible! If you just think POSITIVE!

Karl: liking what Rosie was implying Hey Rosie! I'm POSITIVE we can beat this supposed baron up! What do you say? You in?!

Rosie Petal (me): I'd love to if Schweiger would like to help! Then you can count me in!

Marie: somewhat composed okay? What did I miss? Ohhh, Monsieur Baron est fou!! 😂😂😂😂What are we doing now? Beating him up?Just give me another second sorry! 😂

💞Wernie Headcanons! 💞

💖In rare moments of privacy, I think Werner would sing lovesongs in German for Edie (depending on his mood.) Edie would end up giggling like a schoolgirl and be unable to look him in the eyes as he sings.

💖Edie tends to Werner's hair and patches him up whenever he returns to the safehouse (this is how he always appears spotless 😁) she fusses over him and scolds him for not taking more care of himself. Werner just smiles and listens to her, thinking, "you'd think we were already husband and wife."

💖Edie gifted Werner a handmade sweetheart brooch depicting the Survivor Brigade insignia. She gave it to him before Werner went off to take down a certain vile monster in his Hell Machine.

💖Werner has given her a gift in turn. He has given her his dog tags which she wears at all times.

💖The members of Alpha Squad hear Werner talk about Edie nonstop to the point where some grow tired of his sappy gushing or begin to tease him (Karl is definitely guilty of doing this!) Edie is teased too, and is sometimes referred to as 'Mrs. Sauer.'

💖 Together they can light up any room as when the chaotic duo are paired together, there are jokes and fits of laughter from the pair of them. It's downright contagious and boosts morale.

💖I think after the Dead War, he and Edie would settle down in Werner's hometown and have about three kids? Maybe four? And they'd definitely get a cat for the family too! Werner and Edie would be, without a doubt, great parents and give their kids a good upbringing, one full of love and free from the disgusting clutches of the fascism that nearly killed their parents.

Running straight into one another's arms, holding each other tightly because they don't know if it's the last time they'll see one another. Edie has once knocked Werner over after running at him so hard!
