I just... I cannot comprehend what the hell happened that they thought "yeah, lets piss all of this away". Because in this case the journey does not make any sense without the final destination.

Now dont get me wrong, I do NOT believe in Helltheory but I cannot help but think who are they gonna bring in at this point of the show and display as today-Katarina, and make it credible? The show was not about the mother for many SEASONS and now it's nothing but.

Who can Katarina be that'll ultimately make us go "wtf of course!!!!oneeleven Why didnt i see that!" Unless its someone completely unseen before, or met before. But that makes no sense to me whatsoever. Thats an anticlimax right there.

I do not trust this show. I do not trust the creators of this show.

Liz’s scar and related symbols

I might be crazy, but I am seeing a resemblance here between the Baltic Sea and the symbol on Tom’s Box and Liz’s scar:

Feel free to tell me I’m crazy. In searching Blacklist transcripts for the transcripts for KGB references to Liz’s mom (post here), I came across the dialogue in Episode 2x08 (the Decembrist) between Red and Berlin:

Red: Your daughter told me your name is Milosz Kirchhoff. All these years, Mr. Kirchhoff, you’ve believed with the blackest of hearts that I murdered your daughter. And yet here she is. The story was wrong, Milosz. Please enlighten me. What were you told and who did the telling? Berlin/Kirchhoff: It was in ’91. The Soviet union was falling apart. A small group of us. Members of the Politburo, the military, KGB, Stasi. Had a plan to push back the progressives, to stem the tide. We were meeting and discussing strategy when a bomb. Red: The Kursk Bombing

And it struck me that his last name, Kirchhoff, sounded more German than Russian. So I looked up the origin of the name and found a famous Kirchhoff named Gustav who happened to hail from the city of Königsberg (formerly the coronation city of the Prussian monarchy - though the capital was moved to Berlin in 1701 - and the easternmost large city in Germany until it was captured by the Soviet Union near the end of World War II). Now known as Kaliningrad. And the Wikipedia page for that city pulled up this map image of the Baltic Sea. And the image looked awfully similar to Liz’s scar, the symbols on Tom and Gina’s boxes, and the blood stain? (I’ve rotated the images to allow better comparison).

I’m not sure what this all means but thought it was interesting enough to share, especially since both the Germans and the Russians seem to be playing significant roles in the show.

Since everyone has their theory on the scar, I’ll resurrect mine from this very old (season 3!) post back when I was more interested in dabbling in theories. I’m probably still crazy, but I still see the similarities in the shape.

The episode was... Quite unreal. She loved him? Um, o-kay. But seripusly tho, who is this lady? Where did any of this come from? Could you not have written her in like two seasons ago, so that all of this would have made sense?

I dont know. Red getting some lovin' was great. See him grab her neck and reaaaally kiss her. What was worth a lot. But otherwise. Please, writers. The shit you pull.
